Competition? I just suggested that because if you go to a 2 week vacation to hawaii, who's going to update the first post in those two weeks? But I do think that it looks much nicer in here than in there. I just don't like the wiki interface that much. It's simply a more efficient form of information (as soon as people get there it can be edited, so no waiting for you to get to it, it still gets updated if you go on vacation, and it's less work for you, the work gets' distributed evenly among people, since they all have to edit it once to add their birthdays).

Hey, I just wanted to let you guys know, you don't have to make weird capitalizations in your name to make a wiki page for it, just surround it with two square brackets on each side. And if you want to link to a wikipage with text other than the page name, use a pipe, do it like [[link|linktext]], and to embold, surround the entry with three apostrophes on each side, two apostrophes for italics.

his night) and the foolishly hopeful look he got on his face when I sent him out to clean the garage...a look that dissolved when opened the door an hour later and yelled "I'm coming IN, now! I hope that's Okayeeeeyay!" It seemed really weird at the time (and irritating as we were trying to watch TV while he was shouting). I guess this could be the explanation for the "sobbing himself to sleep" to which he treated me, as well. I had to kick him out of the room it was so annoying. What a baby.

I had the opposite thing happen to me. The second year I was married my husband made a HUGE deal about my birthday. On March 16th he got up early, made breakfast in bed for me, had presents ready, made dinner reservations, etc. It was really quite sweet. I almost didn't have the heart to tell him my birthday is on March
