So what is wrong with my question about WHY NATHANAEL FOUND LOWELL'S POST AWESOME ENOUGH TO EARN HIS VOTE HUH?

Please tell me why you don't want an explaination for why someone voted LOWELL of all people for consulmaker.

Lowell, with his ridiculously low activity and lurking, and his one unhelpful post in thread.

I do beleive I am entitled to ask for an explanation, and am entitled to tell you to sod off.

I'd argue that a vote for a claimed Scum would be a better use for a vote than the use you're putting yours to. His is accomplishing something; yours is being absolutely wasted.

When I see someone in this thread who actually makes sense, they'll get my vote.

So you're choosing to (effectively) not vote at the moment, and you're getting pissy about someone voting for
someone
? Got it.

You're right that it's a good thing to ask for a rationale (and to be honest, I don't like a lowell tribune either), it's just that you're phrasing it in a way that suggests you want an explanation as to why he isn't voting himself (which is a bad play). Asking people why they aren't doing [bad play xxxx] is a bit pointless. You really just wanted to ask why he isn't doing it.

because he's voting for Lowell, yeah. There are a few people who didn't vote themselves who I didn't blow up at.

I know this might seem from out in left field, but should we not elect a tribunal today? We don't have any accurate reads right now, and it might be best to hold off electing a tribunal for a day (my reasoning is that I don't want to elect scum to tribunal and screw ourselves out of a scumlynch).

ScumTribunal negating a Scumlynch would be just about best-case scenario for us.

If a Tribunal vetoes an execution, that person is exempt from executions fro the rest of the day, if I understand the rules correctly.

1. would you have claimed consulmaker if Jack hadn't claimed?
2. do you believe Jack is scum?
3. why do you think did Jack claim consulmaker?
1. If one my consuls ever tried to execute me, I would have. Otherwise, I wasn't planning on revealing it.
2. Yes. I see no reason why someone would fakeclaim consulmaker unless they were scum.
3. There's a few reasons I can think of:
A. For some reason he didn't think someone would counterclaim it
B. He misunderstood the setup, and thought outing the consulmaker would be more useful to scum than it actually is
C. Someone in the mafia has a power that only works when targeting me. In which case, outing me does actually help them.
SensFan wrote:Actually, I think I'd rather just explain my thoughts so others can see if I missed something.

Tonight, if Jack is Consulmaker, he makes ribwhich and someone he thinks is Town the Consuls. If ribwhich is Consulmaker, he targets Jack and someone he thinks is Town. D3, we execute whoever of Jack/ribwhich turns up as Consul tomorrow.
I'm not a fan of this idea, since it would involve guaranteeing that at least one of the consuls tomorrow is scum. If you're insisting on not allowing either one of us to die today, I would propose this alternative: everyone divides themselves up into two groups. I will guarantee that the consuls tomorrow are one person from each group.

@all- read post 102. You know you want me as tribune after that post.

I'll echo spry's 115. One of them needs to go. I don't care which, since neither is claiming a "power role" in any meaningful sense.

In other news, rabies is town, sens is scum. I'm amazing at this game.

1. I am consul. There would be no point in being tribune.
2. no particular reason to vote Lowell, we need to get started somehow don't we?

how about dividing everyone in two groups A and B
and you choosing both consuls out of A and Jack choosing both consuls out of B?
that way even if one consul dies, we still know who of you is the real consulmaker.

This is a great idea, and doesn't take until D3 to kill one of the fakes. Makes me think Sens is scum trying to drag out offing one of his teammates.
