Well, overall, I thought town was doing very well... the lack of a lynch on MrBump REALLY hurt the town, and the luck kill by dram on Cirno also hurt the town. But ultimately, I think town lost due to really good play from dramonic. He was strong when he needed to be, and stayed under the radar when he needed to as well.

More thoughts later; lotsa shit going on right now.

Well tbh the lynch between me and Ender was mainly down to the deadline. Going by claims, my claim was a lot more believable with the multiple softclaims before. If we had claimed earlier, we both would have survived that day most likely as lynching Docs D1 is not the best way to go about it.

Yeah, dram saved our team. I do wish he hadn't lurked so much though, it wouldn't have been as close at the end... sorry for having to replace out guys. I'd have done the same thing as town (and to be fair, I think the only other game I HAVE replaced out of was a Newbie, as Town, where I was posting similarly to this one).

Still don't think I was contradicting myself in early posts, but I couldn't get up enough momentum to sort out what people were trying to accuse me of, without walls-of-text.

Wow, that's surprising. I thought for sure you had investigated me n1 because of your attacks on me at the end of day1 followed by the no attacks at day 2.

That's what I thought too, Glass. I had a lot of fun this game when I started actually playing
Dram WAS the scumteam, no one suspected him at all practically until Day 4 and that was only because he was ConfScum in Lat' eyes. Well, unless you count Cirno's "May I remind you he has an owl for his avatar" xD

Sorry for lateness of this pose, I've been busy. I'll be through this weekend with a little post game write-up for all the newbies wherein I preach a lot and act very self-important, but mostly just try to offer a few tidbits and thoughts of where your play can be improved. I never understood this, why would you not want a cc to claim right away?

I have a theory on this one - Docs that claim and live tend to be scum. Yes, it can be a gambit, but you look at their protection choices, their votes, etc to decide that. 9 out of 10 times, an uncountered Doc who doesn't die the following Night in a setup like this is going to be scum. It doesn't mean you lynch them the next day, but you don't generally want that person living to LyLo (and scum don't want them living, if they know there's a Cop out there).

Flay is pretty close to my logic. The breakdown was that either the "Doc" was a real Doc - in which case there would be no counterclaims, as scum generally aren't that stupid.
Or the "Doc" was scum - if the "Doc" was scum all a counterclaim would do at that point is out the real Doc to scum and also allow scum to, if they do/don't have a roleblocker, surmise some information about the role setup that i would rather they don't have.

Worst case - real Doc is night killed, and at that point fake Doc is dead anyway, counterclaim or no. If Doc lives a night he isn't outed, had a chance to use his power, and can counterclaim at that point when town has more time to discuss the variables. Or you could get a late day counterclaim cluster fest like we did in this game, which in Newbies can be pretty dangerous.

That's my theory at least.
