13 players remain; 7 votes needed for a lynch.

EDIT: Mafia pre-game communications are over.
That can be taken to mean any number of things, depending on how you read it. I read it as "CN confirmed 2nd. Scum!". You and farside read it as "CNandrew94 wrote:what?

The town could still talk during pre-game. There is nothing that Nacho (or anyone) could possibly do to stunt conversation. Broken's point is flawed.farside22 wrote:I'm fascinated more by those ignoring brokens point about scum delaying confirming to give more time to talk
My vote was a deliberate attempt to vote someone who hadn't been voted for. For all intents and purposes it is a random vote.farside22 wrote:I don't know if CN is one of those people that will have me hitting my head on my desk or if he is trying to make something more then it is.
Pushing a lynch on the 2nd page without exceptionally good reason is extremely anti-town.brokenscraps wrote: No jokes bub this is serious business.
More votes on nacho please.
Drawing very poor conclusions to anti-town behavior is scummy. There are some legitimate reasons to vote broken. This is not one of them. It appears you saw something you thought as scummy and made up your reasoning, as opposed to explaining why you thought he was scummy. That's a very newbish scum slip I regret to inform you.AntB wrote:Very poorly... seems like a complete cover-up.brokenscraps wrote:I never said CN confirmed 2nd, just that he is the confirmed 2nd scum, I may have phrased that poorly.

Why would this be a better action? As in, if people ignored it you could get away with ignoring it as well to not bring attention to it? I don't see why you would notice it and then think "let's see what others think" unless you were scum, super worried about what others think.Nacho wrote:I felt it to be a better action on my part to ignore the point and see how people reacted to it.
So you visited the site and read and posted in a thread without noticing you had new messages, something clearly shown at the start of every page? Not exactly believable, which makes me wonder why you'd lie about this...Nacho wrote:I did confirm once I saw the PM.
If people take longer to confirm this means a longer pre-game period, which means longer pre-game talking for scum in their quicktopic.CN wrote:There is nothing that Nacho (or anyone) could possibly do to stunt conversation.
The game gets serious and moves out of the RVS when people start making it serious, how is it anti-town to do something that provides things for people to look at instead of loljokesrandomvotes?CN wrote:Pushing a lynch on the 2nd page without exceptionally good reason is extremely anti-town.
Why did you seem to lets say almost exaggerate brokens comment as a BS reason and drop a vote for it? Seems in my view a crap reason to vote during serious matters.AntB wrote:@CN
So voting on something which to me reads as a cover-up to a particularly nasty slip is a scum slip in itself? While true it ultimately comes down the interpretation, that's why we have punctuation.
See brokens comment that is completely my thinking as well.Nachomamma8 wrote:I did confirm once I saw the PM.farside wrote:*Spoiler Alert

All PM's from mods states to confirm in thread or via PM. You have been playing long enough that I don't see why you would not confirm once you see the PM.
I might be misreading this, but there is nothing in the mods initial posts that suggest post confirmation period scum communication, and the mafia role pms have been posted, and there isn't anything about talking continuing after the game starts in them either. So scum might think they would get a longer talking period if they waited on confirming (and indeed they may have, the correlation between the extra period and the game launch/final confirm is uncertain), making the point stand.farside22 wrote:However the mod allowed a set time for the mafia to chat so the point is moot I realize now.

This comment was made when the mod started day 1.inHimshallibe wrote:And that makes 9/13!
The remaining players have 48 hours to check in, after which they will get a 24-hour prod to confirm or be replaced.
Also, the mafia will have until 1:35 PM CST tomorrow to finish any pre-game talks.
Day 1 begins now! With 13 alive, it takes 7 to lynch.
So how do you feel about what AntB said then?slMagnvox wrote:Obviously read asChaotic Neutrality wrote:That can be taken to mean any number of things, depending on how you read it. I read it as "CN confirmed 2nd. Scum!". You and farside read it as "CNandrew94 wrote:what?

"Confirmed as 2nd scum"
Picking on someone's typo is a scum tell?
But prior to that there was no indication, which meant mafia wouldn't know that they would get an extended speaking period until after there were already enough confirms, which means they might have still tried to delay the game start.farside22 wrote:@Broken:This comment was made when the mod started day 1.inHimshallibe wrote:And that makes 9/13!

How is broken covering? How is what a few other people thought he meant not logical?AntB wrote:So now covering up a slip isn't serious... sure whatever.
My vote was serious, in "serious times" as I felt (and still do feel) he was(is) trying to cover for a slip.

No, and no. There is no scumslip there in either interpretation of what broken said. I'm voting you because your reasoning is made up. It's formulated. You're not giving us reasons, you're feeding us reasons. This has nothing to do with your silly "broken is trying to cover up his scumslip" conspiracy.AntB wrote:So voting on something which to me reads as a cover-up to a particularly nasty slip is a scum slip in itself?

2) Because people are out to kill me(?) - No hatred though in honesty.
3) Nope. Why would I be?
@Farsight
I can understand others may see it differently. However, we have punctuation to clarify things like this.
"helping uncle jack off his horse" can be read many number of ways. "Helping Uncle Jack, off his horse" leaves only one meaning
The "shifty-eyed" emote doesn't exactly reinforce his case.
