Oh yeah. 4s should definitely get in a coalition. chenhsi would have to lowball himself to get anywhere. He needs both 3s, both 2s, and a 1 if he can't pick us.

So we're going to do that. What's the lowest you lot who aren't a 4 are going to take?

I would receive a quarter of the pot, as would the Rent Is Too Damn High Party, thus 55M each.

You wait for other people to improve that offer. Say for example, three of the 1-seaters accept 5mil, and a two seater accepts 10mil. Then you have 5 seats for just 25mil and you can boot out the Anarchist Party and pocket 45mil. Or maybe Cirno undercuts CES. Etcetera. You people not in on the deal need to show some initiative, instead of wallowing in your own tears. (*ahem* gandalf5166).

Gandalf actually PMed me a proposal that would give me more than 30 Million, so he's totally showing initiative.

I'm not taking it though - I believe in this proposal (but it probably does show that to keep trying to find ways to get seats cheaper is liable to lead to a new deal coming into play.)

Going behind people's backs isn't exactly novel, Gandalf. And giving Zang, TonyMontana and you 5 million each is just plain stupid; 1-voters probably wouldn't mind it if no coalition was formed and 5 million is exceedingly poor incentive to let it happen regardless.

It's a zero-sum game. 3 players getting 60 million or more hurts your chances of winning more than getting 5 million helps you. Even if you don't agree, there are good odds one of Zang and TonyMontana does realise this essential point.

So, what's the general consensus on deadlines? I actually thought they might be too short, but if the consensus is that they drag on, I'll shorten them.
