You were, at one time, a nice, small, peaceful community, in Nexusville. You were. Until you woke up one morning and found your beloved town leader, Mayor Nexus, with his head blown off. There was a message left next to his body, warning the rest of you that there was a subversive group who wished to take control of the town, and they would eliminate anyone who stood in their way. You decide to try and root out the evil.

- Please adhere to the site rules.
- Do not discuss this game of mafia outside of this thread unless your role PM allows you to do so.
- Day phases will last 3 weeks maximum.
- Night Phases will last 72 hours maximum.
- During night phase, no talking may be done in the thread at all.
- Do not quote PM's from the mod at all (real or fabricated). Paraphrasing is acceptable.

- All votes must be in bold format: for example.
- Please try to unvote before revoting.
- Any and all votes will be counted, if you wish to waste a day phase voting for someone not in the game, that's fine by me. If you lynch them, night will fall, and you'll be down a day.

- Voting tricks are not acceptable. If you misspell someone's name intentionally, but I get the gist of it, the vote will count.
- A lynch will occur once a majority decision is reached. If no majority is reached by deadline, then no lynch shall occur.



-I expect you to post once every 72 hours. If you don't, you will get prodded. If you do not respond to your prod, either in thread if it's during the day, or via PM during the night within 48 hours, then you will be replaced.
-Similarly, if you get prodded three times, and require a fourth, I shan't bother with the fourth prod, instead simply replacing you.


- Confirm PM receipt in thread. Once I receive 10 confirms, the game will begin.
- Do not edit your posts at all.
- No impossible/hard to read text. No cryptography. Write in English, please.
- The Mod may make mistakes - please point out any mistakes gently. Mistakes will be corrected where possible, but sometimes mistakes are made that cannot be reversed. These will stand as final to be commiserated over after the game.
- Do not use spoiler tags. You have no need to do so. Doing so will invite a warning.
-When you die, I will permit one "bah" post. Other than that, you may not speak in the thread until after the game has finished.
- My rule is final. I also reserve the right to add, change or remove rules. I will, of course, let you know when I do.
- Finally, remember this is a game. So outright insults will not be tolerated. Play to your win condition, not to disrupt other players from enjoying the game.

To answer my own questions--I'm on PST time (GMT -8), and I like having both RQS and RVS, since there are pro's to both and there is no reason not to do both. This is my second game at MafiaScum; I used to play Mafia some off-site (3-4 games, plus modded a game), but that was a few years ago.

And, Because nobody knows what the plural version of your name is.

But to answer anyway: GMT+8, RQS, the alternative is less interesting, and half a dozen or so games here but I haven't played for a while.

I'm usually one to ask these questions, so I don't mind answering at all.
I live in PST, which is GMT-8 I believe.
For the most part, I don't find either the RVS or RQS very productive, and seek to end them as quick as I can. I generally ask a few questions to everyone, but it is more for my personal reference than learning anything about anyone's alignment.
I have played about 15 on site games, and a good number of party based mafia, though usually from the mod's seat.

I'd like to add this question:
About how much posting can we expect from you?

I post generally every day, often repeatedly, and with quite lengthy posts. Expect to hear a lot from me. I am, however, in the process of getting a job, which could significantly decrease my time spent here.

Weapons, you did something strange there. You voted Yoshi for "asking too many questions", but then you went ahead and answered them.

Implosion, you seem very interested in getting this game going. You began only 17 minutes after the 10th person confirmed, and jumped right in before the mod officially opened the game. You also made a second post, again only minutes after someone else initiated a post here. Are you normally this prompt with a new game?

Oh yeah, i must have played about 15 games on site as well. As for posting, I usually don't post too much, so maybe once a day maybe once every 2 days for something contributive.
