So panda voted for someone on the expectation someone else would unvote.

Before hammer.

Why does that seem wrong?

Then I would think if KoH didn't pull scum, the person with the hammer vote must be suspicious. But I see your point, I have made pretty weak reasoning, I just did not have much to go off of and thought that KoH really had the most suspicious behavior out of all the limited posts that we have seen from everyone so far.

@Thil: His whole joking behavior about being a "wiseguy" and everything was pretty off-putting to me. It seemed to me like his possible train of thought was that if he joked about being scum, people would think that he wasn't. Then his OMGUS made me place an FoS. (Though maybe I shouldn't be pointing fingers here, considering the fact that I OMGUSed Nachomamma earlier.)

@Panda: My actions during RVS were purely to pull reactions. I noted Traveller's joking and decided to go with that, and his continuation was interesting to me. And I know it looked pretty scummy to suspect Nacho for pulling out of RVS after he had voted me, but the post I was paying more attention to was his first one, voting you before voting me. Believe me if you want, but I kind of just skimmed over his vote for me more than anything.

My top suspicion is Traveller right now, but I'm not ready to place a vote. Despite his behavior, there's not enough for me to feel confident in a vote.

The first game I played on this site, joke posts became a major problem for me. I understand your ideas, but I wouldn't pay to much heed to joke posts unless you can glean nothing else from the serious posts. This game started off with a bunch of jokes and the way I see it the jokes just went in the direction of him joking about being scum.

Unvote, Vote: Sn1pe29

I no longer think that King of Harolds is scum based on post #80. Although I do urge him to toss a vote down; there's no use to be in the not voting column at this point in time.
Which is in part why I'm voting snipe. I find his #78 weird because the only purpose it accomplishes from a town standpoint is nothing. All suspicion and pressure is withdrawn, and nothing else replaces it. I can sort of understand thil13's post following it because I read it as him interpreting as something he was supposed to do, and he notes that he's looking for a response before he places his vote again. But for snipe, there is no excuse.

I made the post because I now suspect Panda, not enough to vote for him though. And my Random Vote staying in place no longer served a purpose.

There was also no point in removing it then.

Question: Ever played in a game with arbitrary post restrictions?

Sn1pe29, I don't get why you are not voting for me if you suspect me. It seems like you are trying to lurk and/or bandwagon behind the scenes and that seems pretty scummy.

My main reason for not voting for you is a lack of evidence; my reasoning behind suspecting you is particularly weak, definitely not enough to place you at one vote away from being lynched. In retrospect, my unvote was unnecessary. However, at the time, everyone else had removed their random votes and I noticed mine was the only one left, I assumed it was just the end of the RVS. I figured it was time to get rid of it as it served no purpose.

Since his vote would have put you to L-1 I wouldn't expect him to vote for you.

VOTE: Traveller

Nacho's right, may as well put on the full pressure with a vote at this point. Traveller is my top suspect, anyways.

I'm not sure, I don't really feel suspicious of anybody at this point, but I have seen some minor suspicious behavior. Still not convinced on a vote, but I've been paying attention.

The point of voting now is to make people feel that if they don't communicate they will be lynched. When they communicate, we can see whether they become more or less suspicious. There is no reason at this stage not to place a vote on a minor suspicion and see how they react.

First game I played, votes were pretty much thrown around on weak evidence and it led to two mislynches on the first 2 days (me being one of them) on top of the mafia killings. I just want to be careful and not let the same thing happen. Though, if that's how the game is played, let's give it a try.

Ah, but we have to lynch someone. If it's my time, so be it, but let's make it interesting. BTW, KoH, did not intend to OMGUS you, but it came out that way. Apologies, but you are the most aggressive player, which, lacking any other information, suggests mafiosi to me.

You all are a pretty serious crowd. Don't want to garner any more votes than I already have, so I'm done with the flippant attitude - at least for now!

Yeah maybe KoH does have an aggressive playstyle. Nacho seems just as aggressive at this point, but it seems like he's just interrogating everyone by way of voting them. Hmm well no has done the same to him so I'll be the one to initiate:

@King

Why are you so hesitant to put a vote on Traveller when he only has one vote? It seems like you are trying to keep attention away from yourself after you were called out early for switching your vote.

Sorry, prod received.

Honestly, not much is changing.

Pandabear:
Easily my number one. I hated that 'vote expecting someone to unvote.' I hate that thing with Nacho. "It's pro-town to interrogate people, so I'll go be protown! Look at me being townie!" It's bad. It's really, really bad. How is it interrogating someone if you tell them the vote for pressure is 'for pressure?' It's just a little dance to look pro-town.

King of Harolds:
Could he be? Sure. The "I didn't realize it was OMGUS" was pretty bad, especially when I said it wasn't a scumtell, but I can't say that that's more than a niggling concern.

Snipe:
Has contributed nothing to the game. Like, amserious.

Thil13:
Again with the 'that's how the game is played, so I'll play the game that way to look town!' bit. The point is to catch scum. You have to be fairly fast and loose sometimes.

Traveller
: This is way too cheeky to be newb-scum. Town

Bristep
: Meh. If it makes any sense, I think he'd put in more effort as scum, just to see if he could fool me ;)

Nacho
: I don't like lynching the IC on day 1. In this case, it doesn't much matter, because Nacho is incredibly pro-town here.

I'm going to give this game the consideration it deserves, but I have to say this:
