yes please... we need people, and by people i need everyone, to start posting... so far i have seen nothing worth noting, and we need to get this show on the road... or else a real good home town following and some shows right about here. either way, on the road, or right here, we need a show.

as for the Mute-replace-situation:
Mozamis is right about the fact there are players who replace out when under pressure (more likely as scum).
However clearly it doesn`t apply in this case as there was no pressure what so ever on Mute.

Kingpin as his scumread, see it as invalid
So far no surprises
Mute however, calls the post that called himself town: invalid (pretty unlike opportunistic scum in my view)
Therefore my 'final read' on the now replaced mute is leaning town.

as for Mozamis:
I do see the idea where the 'replaced thus more likely scum'-idea comes from,
however as it`s completely irrelevant in this particular case (the pressure wasn`t there),
the only purpose bringing it up could have, would be to build a fake case on it.

The exact phrasing of the last answer struck me as an odd choice. Mozamis is the only person who answers the questions who feels a need to explicitly state that they are town. He doesn't say his record is rubbish, but that his record as town is rubbish. If this was the only thing I'd noticed about mozamis, I might have ignored it, but there's more.

This accusation makes no sense. If Mute had asked to replace out after suspicion had started to build on him, it would have been one thing, but asking for a replacement on page four with no one voicing suspicion of him at all is a null-tell. Trying to build up a case against someone without that person actually doing something suspicious is scummy. Using incredibly cautious language doing so seems like you're trying to test the waters and see if its safe before starting a wagon.

And here's where you see that water isn't safe and back off. You said it wasn't a scumtell, but you also said it was something scum often do. Something scum often do is a scum tell, unless protown players do it too, in which case its a null-tell. If it was a null-tell, why even bring it up in the first place?

yess... ranger makes points that i have yet to pick up on and voice in this game... thankfully there are players that can do that within the first 5 pages of a game. my contributions usually start around page 10 when the good stuff starts. I agree with ranger. [jokes]although it is usually a scum tell to replace in also most scum vote at some point, which ranger just did. i've got my eye on him lol[/jokes]

Purely based on the fact that in both games i was in as scum, scum replaced out.
Clearly, 2 games is not enough evidence to call it a "tell".
But you can understand why i am wary of replacements. LIke i said, keep an eye on the replacements -nothing more, nothing less.

I actually have the opposite experience in games. I for one think that more people enjoy scum positions and PRs and are therefore less likely to drop out. Plus, I've had to drop out of games, regardless of my role, due to real life circumstances. SO I understand where you are coming from but I don't think it's quite the reason to cause a lynch so early in.

@Nacho, after being gone for 4 days do you have any input other than seemingly randomly throwing out names? You could at least give a little reasoning with all of your reads. I suspect you are just trying to gauge reactions and that is your way of scum hunting, yes?

But i see now that the mod updates the post at the top of the page, taking into account votes below it.
