Setael, can you explain more your thought process in the Sloth/Vi/WIFOM stuff? It looks like we're lynching Vi--can't really expect Sloth to vote himself--but I want to hear what your decision-making process was before I hammer Vi.

I'd forgotten Zdenek was vig, so it seemed odd he'd be NK'd over Faraday, you or me.

I don't think sloth could've been scum with TS, and Vi's interactions with hiplop have been sketchy pretty much all game so I'm confident Vi's the last scum.

I feel very powerless right now, and I distrust that quite the bit.

Thank you. I don't have a lot of time any more, so I play games I'm interested in... and given that I follow shiny things, those tend to be Themes. Plus I'm reviewing Normals now, so that kind of limits which ones I can play.

Neruz, I'm very sorry I spoiled the end of the game. I'm just very bitter about how it went down, through no fault of your own. I'm not even going to claim I was playing well - I would have been surprised if I lived through Day 3; some points were really embarrassing - but Setael's replacement was obscene and so was Quilford's post-claim play. Although on the plus side I'm glad to see Setael is both alive and as good as I remember

Given that Twistedspoon is scum, his #36 is a pretty clear indication of one of the following.
*Faraday is scum with Twistedspoon and knew there would be a Frame job on hiplop. This is possible but viciously improbable.
*Faraday is Town and Twistedspoon, expecting Faraday-Cop, knew hiplop-Town was Framed. Not bad if you don't mind the existence of a Framer.
*Faraday is Town and Twistedspoon, expecting Faraday-Cop, knew hiplop-scum was caught. This is most likely.

But if I don't show them that then that opens the door for one of THEM to find it. If that happens, I can only hope it'll get picked up by one of the remaining power roles (who we'd be shooting anyway) and hope for the best at 3P LyLo.

I will say this isn't the first time I've benefited as town from having a replacement come in and crack the game open. Mastin did it my very first game on site--he replaced in towards the end of D1 and basically called the scumteam. But I've also seen replacements come in and inadvertently totally lead the town in the wrong direction when their predecessors were actually more on the ball. And I do know what you mean--in Chesskid's Fishslappers mafia, Vox, bvoigt, and I were continually scrambling because VIs were replacing out and getting replaced with players like Hito, GreyICE, and Llmarble. Not fun, and we got our asses kicked.

But in the end, I like to think that it kind of evens itself out.

Unless he's a pal of yours, that sounds like buddying to me. I also see no reason for him to confirm your thoughts to you (presumably you already know what you meant). So, was he instead taking the opportunity to make me look more suspicious? I don't know of course, it's early days, but I don't like the buddying feel to it. (Yes I know town can buddy town etc, but to quote yourself, "Something seems off").

Name calling from Vi? - I'm a bit disappointed if indeed that's what it is. (We could all do that, but it'd end up a bit of a barney..)

Sometimes I log on and read, but don't have time to post. (I usually post at lunchtimes at work, or late evenings). I do try and keep up. I also see Quilford is active at the moment but not posting - but I'll not hold that against him unless it's part of a bigger case.

Anyway, as you are also online at the moment, what do you think of Sloth's comment on the shortened nights?

In my mind he was obvscum, and I didn't push him further because if I did and he didn't get lynched and then turned up dead day 2 the scum would have fingered me as the vig. Not that it would have mattered since I turned up dead from the mafia's kill. Thanks for thinking of me Vi. </3
