Neruz and DeathNote, please do this and then revote. Things are going to get confusing if you try and vote for another person without unvoting the first person. Your vote could mistakenly be counted twice.

It actually doesn't say that unvotes are required, so likely their new votes overrode their previous vote.

Why would unvotes be mentioned at all if they were not required?>_> It's not helping anyone to vote for multiple people without unvoting. As someone responsible for tallying votes in Mafia threads, I know firsthand how confusing it can get when people do things like this. It's not asking a lot to unvote whoever first, then make your new vote.

Some mods require that votes first be unvoted, others do not. Seraphim did not clarify if unvotes are needed or not.

I do, however, assure you that votes will not mistakenly be counted twice, and if Seraphim does err in the vote count someone will be quick to point it out and get it fixed. Let Seraphim worry about mod problems, he's the mod, its his job.

-.- If unvotes were not required, they would not be mentioned in the rules. There would be no point to it. The fact that they are, means that unvotes are part of the game. As a player, I have a right to worry, just like other players have pointed out mistakes and clarified things. Unvoting first is the right thing to do. There's no need to make a fuss about it. In the meantime, I know I won't be counting the votes of anyong who has voted twice without unvoting.

True, but the xvart was trying to make a cause up.

Which one do you think is worse? Making some really bad excuse up, or not having an excuse at all?

Let's put this in real life perspective.

You get held off on a date.

Would you be more pissed if your date...
A)Sent you a really crappy "We're breaking up message", ending all discussion there
B)Sent you a "It's not you, it's me" message.

It seems that B is most probably the better choice of the two.

And like I've said, the mod put it in the rules. Unvoting isn't something that would exist as something a person can choose or choose not to do when they want to change their votes. The fact that it is mentioned in the rules is all the confirmation you need. Don't argue just for the sake of arguing.O_o

i dont think xvart was really making up a case he was asking questions. one of which was loaded. still no case here.

if you were voting based on opportunism, the correct vote would have been DN, his reasoning was weakest, and was third on a wagon, rather than 2nd.

You hunt scum, let the mod moderate. The vote stays until I see something resembling scum hunting.

*Sigh*

YamiChan, it is often a result that mods allow unvotes, but do not require them. I myself ran a Mini Normal where i stated the formats for Votes and Unvotes and then went on to say that Unvotes while appreciated, were not required. Whether or not Unvotes are required changes from mod to mod, hence why i have asked Seraphim to clarify as he did not state one way or the other.

The fact that you refused to join a Newbie Game and thus are completely unaware of things like this is not my fault, it is yours.

The only thing this is is a witch hunt.-.- I am not moderating. Several other players have corrected me on rule mistakes and clarified things, yet I alone am being singled out? You guys aren't doing anything! You don't catch the Mafia by voting randomly.-.- I am doing my best, but you guys will not let me play. You won't rest until I'm out of the game, and that is just sad. I'm sick of it, but I will not back down, no matter how horrible anyone is to me.
You don't stand a ghost of a chance.
