That's become moot at this point. Now he's trying to backpedal out of what was clearly a serious policy lynch by saying it was a joke. It's scum waffling.

Well, see, I was in the doctors office yesterday, bored out of my mind, and the last thing I wanted was more pancakes.

Therefore, I have begun to start looking in the direction of waffles, as they are generally crisper and taste better with ice cream or syrup. Then the monkeys started playing with my feet and I couldn't make any sound at all -- but right then, the doctor's assistant called me in and I finally could go home.

All this to say:

Ama changed his vote basically because I told him to ie he flaked under very small pressure...

also I am tired, those last 2 posts were basically me thinking Z = target of policy lynch so ignoring them would be advised if you are town...

anyways Z MUST know he will get tons of heat for his last post, I do not think its a good vote

That's a lynch I can get behind, SV. Thus far, I've seen only aggression and distraction tactics coming out of Beck, and pushing for a nonsensical early wagon on zdenek. I don't get the case on zdenek AT ALL, I've always enjoyed playing with him.

Pine The only thing aggressive from me is my scum hunting and i haven't distracted anyone. As for the case on zde, usually when people dont understand things, they would typically ask questions to try and understand. Clearly you have no interest in finding out the reasons or you would have asked about it already.

I don't like slandar's constant attempt to diffuse a wagon on zde, wagons are useful, this one is turning out to be useful.

Well the reasoning was perfect, and I had no reason not to do so, so I listened.
It was RVS stage anyways, and now I feel that he deserves my vote more than anyone.

So for anyone playing at home, here is why I'm voting zde

1. Suggesting a PL to begin with
2. The fact he pointed to a rather weak reason for said PL
3. The fact that he votes the first person who questions him and his reason for his PL vote.

Interesting enough that's the same number of posts he has so far.

If he was joking like he claimed, he wouldn't have pinpointed the exact post number in a game, unless he had it memorized, he obviously had to go find the post.

Plus, the vote on pops, who made a content filled post in response to the PL suggestion, draws such a reaction he felt needed to vote him, not once trying to point out what was wrong with pops's post, just writes it off as "blathering"

This isn't town motivated behavior, and as such I'm thinking he needs more pressure and quite possibly lynched.

But, do you think he really makes that 'blathering' post as scum? he must have played a few games going by his join date... so, he must know how much heat he will take for it, so it just seems unlikely he does that as scum.

It seems like he is a townie who doesn't care, or a jester maybe? if they are in the game...

It does kind of depend on his level of experience, if he has only played like 2 games I would think its more likely hes scum ...

Pine however, seems scummy, not understanding the case was really odd it seemed pretty obvious to me...

if I thought he did that as a throw away thinking nobody would really pay much attention to it than yes I could see scum make that comment, especially because there would always be somebody like you to point out that he could take heat.

for right now though he is good for some pressure, much better than the reason you are pointing out.

Yep.

In post 55, Slandaar wrote:what do you make of someone who does not correct a mistake and instead rolls with it? do you find it townie or scummy?

I think it's slightly scummy because townies should have conviction behind their votes, whereas scum don't need to scumhunt, so they don't really care about who they're voting as long as it looks good.

It's not a throwaway comment. Pops' is blathering. He's talking about how policy lynching DK is a bad move, bragging about past games as town and theorizing about what makes a good policy lynch. He accuses me of lurking when my time between posts is less than 24 hours, so he is grasping at straws trying to make me look bad. He argues that my argument for a policy lynch was weak while insisting that it must have been serious, without even considering the question: if it were serious, could it have been stronger?
