Not seeing what you're seeing as scummy. He's trying to generate content. Some of it is reaching, sure, but it's page 3.

The reason they're saying c_p is town is because he objected to the early policy wagon, like, hey, why is this guy scummy?

I think it was awkward, though, and that scum would never be like "hell yeah we should lynch this guy on page 1 and I won't look totally scummy for pushing this!"
