Well, anyway, I agree with d_rouge. I understand that this kind of thing is the way to start conversation, but I don't really think Sineish's vote is all that suspicious. He just voted somebody and didn't want to call it random.

sorry everyone, the last 3 days we've spent in the hospital AGAIN with my son, this time he has some sort of viral infection that they couldnt find, but he is home now and very very cranky, not to mention my cranky wife, so I havent been around as much as Id liked to be. I should be here now.

I don't like Drummer's defense of another player at this stage in the game, but conversely, at this stage of the game it would be suicidal for scum to defend their partner. Drummer's not stupid, whatever else he is...

Right......You're a piece of paper. How do we lynch you? Does it really count if we vote for a piece of paper?

And I'm not sure how suspicious it is to state that somebody random-voted. That's all I did, not sure why it would be interpretted any other way. Sineish seems a bit odd to me. Not overly suspicious though.

Few reasons from top of my mind why Crola claimed now:
Unkillable/-lynchable role
Wins game when lynched (wasn't there something like that in the bookshop-mafia
Scum
Poor play

Everyone of those reasons is bit far-fetched in my opinion, but right now I couldn't think anything else.

I'd go with 1 or 4 at this point, olio. He could also be the "Jack's _____" articles from Reader's Digest, in the house on Paper Street. Though I'm not sure how that matters. Obviously one of the pro-civilization humans died last night, but that doesn't prove all non-humans are against the town.

Where IS everybody? Bit hard to play when no one's talking...

I am Jack, from the magazine, I have to correct people if they say the main character (narrator) is Jack b/c the mod says he isn't and I'm basically his voice.

Olio, I was bored, and since no one is talking in this game, I figure if I role claim, there will be a lot of contraversy and people will start to talk.

I am Jack, I am a townie with the posting restriction of correcting people's viewpoints on who Jack really is. If you try to kill me you get a papercut and die.

He's claiming that if we kill him we die... that's dangerous, but I could see scum doing it. Jack wasn't really real, as wasn't tyler durden, so it's possible that "imaginary" people are the mafia.

The claim is sort of bizarre, but I'm not sure it's indicative of being scummy. For clarification, are you saying someone dies if you're lynched, or if you're night-killed, Crola? Anyway, if there's another Jack out there, they'll know it and when the time comes we can resolve the issue.

I think it only works at night, warpdragon didn't give specifics, so depending on how he does it, he might also kill the person who last put a vote on me during the lynch.

*shrug* You said it was a hunch. I go on hunches quite a lot. It's almost impossible to argue against ("You don't actually think that!" "Yes I do!" "Oh...") or disprove, but it's also unlikely to persuade other people to vote for me.

In other words, why bother challenging it now? Better to not mention it, and possibly use it as evidence later if I believe you're scummy.

He shot it down pretty quickly. While Crola's claim was completely unbelievable, we should remember that the mod of this game is Warpdragon. I think Crola's claim could be possible. Though if I were bulletproof, I would have claimed cop or something to get the mafia to attack me at night.

Speaking of which, I wonder which mafia would get killed if the group targetted Crola. This is all assuming he is telling the truth. Perhaps a mafia member would be randomly selected by the mod? I dunno. The claim is both suspicious and unsuspicious to me right now.
