First off: Yes, it was the right choice to end the game. Letting it go on past that mod error where scum was confirmed town would have fucked everything up beyond repair.

Holy shit, I was so fucking confused when Bitmap cleared him.
My reads on everyone were totally shook up when he revealed that.
Glad to know I wasn't totally off. I didn't want to lynch anyone else at that point and I got a little pissy at Magua because I didn't like being wrong* about something.

Let's shake hands Magua, your way was theoretically foolproof, I just didn't like you coming in and ruffling my feathers and changing up all my hard work thus far. Our ways of accomplishing a win were both effective, unfortunately they were just both mutually exclusive as well.

Re: mod errors... Chrimi made a few too many for my taste buuuut... I mostly forgive him, just like I mostly forgave Rach last time, because I realize he was excited to run this game and may have gotten ahead of himself... especially given that LS, Metabot, AND Rach all had the same roles as last time we were all together. And I think I only made it worse by being just as accurate as I was last game

Rach, you are completely forgiven for N1206 now, and thought I realize you were making up for past "sins", I still forgive you entirely <3

I have no problem with UberNinja being town MVP of the game. Really, lynching scum D1 and D2 in this setup is like incredibly good.

@Chrimi:

I think that as a mod, it's good that you want to communicate things to the players, but I think you'd do better to just stick to the bare facts. Eg, when someone asked for Trollie to be prodded, you should just say "Trollie has been prodded"; the extra comments like "I didn't notice he's been gone for eight days" or whatnot gives information, however slight, about whether Trollie sent in Night actions or not. Your defense of that, especially in calling it a "mistake", amplified the issue.

I'd also recommend you have a co-mod or backup mod to check your action resolutions next time, just as a precaution.

Don't have a problem with UN being the town MVP either. Not because he lynched a lot of scum, but mainly because he was the main driving force (at least while I was alive) in the game. He kept the discussion going when nobody else was talking.


I really think people should listen to me more when I've found scum through connections. I think I have a track record of being right a lot.

For what it's worth, Kondi and OmNom (happy scumday btw, Om! <3) were my strongest town read through much of the game, and they were an excellent choice for a night kill.

I think both of them deserve more credit than they were given in the scum QT. And perhaps I don't deserve so much as I was given (though, arguing with results is hard in hindsight, etc). But the point is, this game wasn't just a thing where I came in and did my thing and people got lynched and they flipped scum like I said they would. Not at all.

This game was very much a team effort, and I obviously couldn't have done alone. Without everyone in this game participating the way they did, things could have ended up much differently. I was very pleased at how people acted rationally for the most part, and didn't eat each other alive like the scum predicted we would in their QT. A lot of the predictions they made about this game were wrong, not the least of which was the dynamics with how useful in scumhunting people were overall. I think everyone did very well in this game, even the scum we caught. Unfortunately there were just more town around than scum, and good play multiplies itself from player to player almost as well as bad or harmful play does.

I learned a lot from this game, and from now on I'll be playing games a bit differently than I have before, including less trolling of people who are easy to bait, more willing to coexist with other strong personalities, more helpful in a general sense (sometimes I just get that "ugh I hate this game and I don't really want to play" attitude, and that never helps anyone), and probably a little more polite overall as well.

Re: Magua's strategy, I think it was sound in principle, but I would have preferred obviously to continue the way we had been. Now that I think about it in hindsight though, if I had replaced into a situation like he did, I probably would have handled the situation the same way he did: "What are the actions I can take that ensure the highest probability of winning this game, with the least amount of effort on my part?" And that's exactly what he did. Please forgive my attitude towards that, Magua (and everyone really). I would have likely done something similar (Chrimi and drmyshotgun know that from Open 398... sorry again, guys).

Chrimi, I know you said in the scum QT that you used random.org to determine roles (nifty site, btw), but what in the HELL possessed you not to re-roll after getting the same roles? I certainly would have, even if only to squelch the WIFOM during post-game. And if you never told anybody you re-rolled, nobody would ever know. Of course, re-rolling until you get what you want is a slippery slope, etc, but still. WTF haha

Also, BK, I have played exactly this way a lot in the past, as you should be able to tell from reading your buddies' posts in the scum QT. How dare you accuse me of copying somebody else's style. I wanted to reach through the screen and strangle you when you said that, but it becomes clearer now that I know you were scum and were just grasping at straws trying to get me mislynched.

The only mention of eachother was in that one post, which was a weak attack on LS.

LS never responded, and never tried to defend.

That is what instantly tied you two together.

As I said in the begging of the game when people wanted a quicklynch on Uber, he would be really helpful if he was town and of course once more he comes up with who is scum.

Next time when I play, when I clear someone as town he is scum. Haha my reads sucked.
