Now I could be dead wrong on this but, if you were to make a horror movie mafia wouldn't you be sure to use the more well known and classic characters first? so assuming that all the names and roles were given out before the safe claims were thought up, wouldn't it be more likely that Dracula would NOT be a safe claim?

The Mod set up the game so that the town is comprised of killers and the scum would be the innocent characters in the storyline. Notice the first guy dead is Jack Torrance.

How can you know that? The only way you can know that is that you're scum and you have an innocent character.
I mean, you didn't offer it as a speculation, you said it as if it was a fact.

She did tell us, in the opening posts. The flavour for the game hints that it might not be a good thing in this town to be "good". The fact that she has given scum safe claims is also in there.

"Since MASS-CLAIMING destroyed my Final Fantasy Game, Guess what guys? Don't even think about it here. ALL ANTI-TOWN role have safe claims. So hah! You gotta do it the old fashion way."

What Strykker based his observations on is available for all to see.

What I don't understand is if Strykker guessed that the "innocent" characters are the bad guys why does he find it hard to believe that Dracula (one of the ultimate bad guys) can be pro-town here. How does Jack Torrence being a townie make the Dracula claim less believable? I think I just need some clarification on that point.

You see in HorrorVille, not everything is what it seems. What is Good, may be what you not want it to be. What is Bad may be the only true thing. One thing is for sure. This is your town. Do whatever you must to keep it the way you want it to be.

Think about it. The set up is obvious. Good characters=Bad, Bad characters=good...

What bothers me, is that Stryker, instead of trying to clearify a confusing statements, says "So what if it makes no sense?"

If you're trying to convince us to lynch or not lynch (Honestly I can't exacltly tell what your posistion is) nightfall, then you should as sure as heck make us understand why instead of throwing out contridictary statements and then defiantly standing behind that statement. I'm not sure, but it seems to me this could be intentional confusion.

ok perhaps I've gotten a little confused as well in this situation. Let me answer your guys questions.

The information to the contrary I assume means my explination of how the setup of the game is. This isnt what it seems, I believe that NightFall is scum because I don't believe his claim. I think it sounds like a safeclaim that he wasnt absolutely sure what to do with and it has some holes in it.

My using it in the explaination of the game is simply a point that if the game was setup with the bad guys being the bad guys then Jack Torrance would not make sense as a townie, and Dracula would be suicide to claim.

I'm not seeing any more direct questions aimed at me but if there are more please ask them and I will have no problem clarifying.

I amfraid I'm still rather confused. Jack Torrance is a townue, so isn't the asumsion that the "bad guys" from the movies are the town, and the "heros" are the mafia.
So, why would claiming dracula be a suicide claim?
