Well this is a well deserved Town win. I think I earned that questionable kill (seriously ... Amrun did you feel bad for the scum since they were getting rolled and went with 'intent' ... had some Town role shown intent to take an action in this thread but not actually submitted the action would you have accepted it?).

This is what I expected from the set-up Amrun - confounded expectations (NS being able to be killed by the Mafia? very oddball) and reasonable balance. Aside from some blips in game smoothness that were completely reasonable due to RL concerns you did the usual good Moderating job.

Really this game is an example of

1. Scum dying so quickly that finding the last of them became problematic
2. Not making dumb kills as Mafia for "Teehee WIFOM" reasons

Because the justification on the NS kill was dumb as heck. Scum shot themselves enough in the foot with their Day 1 play ... making a kill on their teammate Night 1 was just over the top. Shooting any number of players other than NS was the obv choice N1.

You were being lynched via PoE and the only decent alternative was KJ...but KJ actually looked town and like he was helping us, whereas you looked like unneeded dead weight and a decent possibility to nail scum.

I would like some tips on my play guys. Sorry about the self-vote, I was just trying to help, and I sort of gave up after noticing I wasn't really being listened to.

My tip - don't self-vote. In general it isn't a great move. There are circumstances where it is beneficial but this is certainly not one of them. Scum were already critically injured and your self-vote kept them on life-support for another day.

Frankly I think your lynch was PoE as your attack on Yos was very, very Town oriented situationally and anyone who couldn't see that was blind or scum.

Since I have like 2 mins of time now, I have tiny bit of comments.

First Civility clauses are important since if they are enforced it improves both the acumen of posting and promotes good sportsmanship.

This game was balanced, although if anything scum had an advantage. The variant of traitor was very strong. Optimal play is to fake-guilty some guy then blow up any contradicting claims or ccs that pop up the next day.

RC, although he didn't know it, would never be lynched, ever, as long as he true-claimed, because of both of N and Ice's roles. So he had a comfortable victory from D1. In fact RC was guarenteed a victory today since I'm sure as soon as he got the chance to post after Phil's survivor claim, we would have simply voted RC a bunch over and over again to ensure his wincon, and then lynched Phil.

Still RC, it would have been less of a headache had you claimed after Ice did. Then we'd have been looking for one scum and it would be so easy to find them (although it didn't take us long).

Hopefully this game proves I have a brain since I was always intending to shoot Umbrage N2 for objective reasons.

Okay, I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the flavor and the setup. As for my role, I kind of played up the dislike of it for the cameras a bit, Amrun. I was trying to score more townie points by acting disenfranchised about my vote. I think it was a very well constructed role, but I didn't realize that unvoting myself and revoting myself would've earned me more points. I thought I actually had to vote another player and then revote myself (hence this). So I was reluctant to help any of the other players get more votes.

But the game was fun all-in-all. I felt a little removed, but the town had the scumteam's back against the wall almost from the beginning of the game on.

MoI made a pretty good point about Governors. I'd love to hear from Umbrage and what was going through his head when that happened. But gg everybody. Thanks so much to Amrun for hosting and creating this setup. I wish I could've given you more entertainment value for this role. I liked the spin you put on the traditionally boring survivor role, but I guess I just misunderstood it from the beginning (as may have been foreseen from our exchange of PMs at the beginning of the game).

You probably could've eased up on the difficulty of RC's win condition. Maybe had him a survivor with the alternate wincon of "most votes total."
