Based on a random number that was chosen by my daughter  , MOS has submitted one of his words. Since I have your word lists I can do this without hurting the flow of the game more than it has been. You have been warned. Jhawk take the word off the list that is yours.

The adjective is Misunderstood and here are your choices.

wheelchairs
eraser
Computer
toothbrush
telephone
science
Foreign Films
Eminem
The Minnesota Twins
Picking your nose

This is, by the way, our method of getting a card from someone that is too slow in submitting a choice. The host for that round reaches over and without looking pulls a random card out of that persons hand. It really sucks if you didn't want to use that word for the round. You snooze, you lose!

The Minnesota Twins are misunderstood; most people think they're a baseball team, when, in fact, they're a bunch of homeless people who wandered onto a baseball field one day. The fans loved it.

Are you dissing the Twins? Because you better not be dissing the Twins. If you're dissing the Twins, you're dissing me. And we just can't have that, can we?

It's true, they're not that bad, but barely finishing the season with a winning record (83-79) is nothing to get excited about.
Except, of course, if a bunch of homeless people managed to pilot a professional baseball team to a winning record. That'd be pretty interesting.

And besides, The Minnesota Twins isn't referring to baseball at all, it's actually just these two:

P.S. Yes, I am aware that The Shining took place in Colorado, not Minnesota.

Wow. Someone's struck my chord - I'm a baseball fanatic, and I love the Twins reference, haha! They almost got sold. For no reason. I'm really leaning this way; someone best make a case.

Foreign films have subtitles, and Eminem isn't misunderstood - that's Bon Jovi, I think :P.

Foreign Films are the most misunderstood things in the world, obviously. And subtitles or voice-overs are often VERY laughable... But that's another story.

Not too many good choices this round... okay, misunderstood...

wheelchairs - what's not to understand? People who can't walk use them to get wheeled around.
eraser - I can see where the person is coming from on this one. If you erase a lot of words, you can make something pretty hard to understand.
Computer - Maybe if we're all 70 years old, it's going to be tough to understand computers. But not for us.
toothbrush - I don't understand why someone would choose "toothbrush" for "misunderstood," so that's something.
telephone - Definitely more understandable than computers.
science - I imagine that everyone in the world doesn't understand SOMETHING in science. Even the most educated people don't understand some part of someone else's field.
Foreign Films - As it has been mentioned, these often have subtitles. Even so, if you have to watch these for class or with a nerdy girlfriend, you might not know what's going on.
Eminem - He's pretty understandable.
The Minnesota Twins - I don't know enough about the Twins to comment.
Picking your nose - Picking your nose is a lot of things, but I don't think it's misunderstood.

I'd go with science or foreign films.

Eminem is really misunderstood.

He's like a modern day Jesus, except every1 thinks he's violent and stuff.

You should really pick him.

That is the end of my efforts to sway this round in any way because I am lazy as hell.
