This isn't really a spoiler
Why the fuck did Xmithie holster sejuani ult game 3 against G2? They were massively down and Caps was already in outplay mode. By the time he sent it, the dive was already over, and he got nothing from it. The only somewhat reasonable explanation is that he thought that the dive would fail, but, again, massive gold deficit overcomes that? Hard to take competition seriously if garbage like this makes it to the finals. How they beat iG so convincingly but fail basic (pre 2 minutes) laning against somebody that always goes for first blood boggles the mind.-

alright time to necro this thread
It is apparently rumored that Polt and LS are joining T1 as Head coach and coach. Source.
The response to this from Korean fans is actually fucking wild.
They hate this change.
Like LS has apparently gotten non-stop harassment from Korean fans and its got to the point that even his grandmother is getting harassed.
Korean fans even have a fucking truck set up its wild.| here.GTKAS-

PowerofEvil to TSM and Perkz to potentially NA is what I've been hearing so far.-

not quite LoL discussion, but this seems the best thread for placement
Wololo V was amazeballs
at least three fantastic sets in there
Also I wasn't super happy about how the Swiss stages were handled, but they definitely allowed for a lot more interesting build up games prior to the brackets than groups do-

Use this thread for discussion of LoL eSports"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"-

Hi I am a big fan of League of Legends esports.
Sadly, my work schedule prevents me from watching the LCO but I've been a big fan of the region since before they were the LCO (since S9). I realize they'll never actually make it to group stage but like; a girl can dream right? (There's a few names from there that I am always proud to see performing well. Examples include Tally, Arthur, and Violet among many others. (FBI was another, there's a bunch more too.)
I was a fan of Pyosik before he won worlds, I literally wrote a rant about the talent of junglers and what I consider to be the mark of talent. (Not mechanical skill, not carrying, so much as innovating--bringing champions into the meta, inventing new jungle paths, etc. Pyosik was literally the player who brought Udyr into the meta. When other junglers copied him, Pyosik was the one who brought the Hecarim counterpick into the meta. Udyr/Hecarim became perma-p/b because PYOSIK showed why the champs were busted at that time. He didn't make worlds/MSI that year because he was like 8th place at the time if I recall correctly. To me the best teams aren't the ones who perfect the existing meta but rather the teams which pioneer the new meta. For instance, Clutch Gaming in their last year before becoming Dignitas literally invented the 8-minute herald swap. It was a year later that became THE strat. I was a fan of Vulcan from back then and thought he was legit one of the best supports in NA, despite his lackluster win record. His talent and intelligence was apparent, and I was happy when he got success on other teams.)
I can't catch LEC matches live and since the twitch LEC channel changed its vod settings to not record broadcasts I stopped watching the region by and large but they're one of my faves.
I watch the LCK almost every night. I am a big BRO fan, as much as it pains me. They work together SO WELL as a team. They are SO CREATIVE with what they do. But they are SO BAD at actually getting the needed results overall and it pains my soul.
I was a fan of Damwon from the getgo.
Uhhh idk what else to say but yeah I like lol esports.-

Those capture the matches themselves. Less so the actual twitch vod.In post 8293, Silverclaw wrote:Hey Mastina, have you checked out https://lolesports.com/vods/lec/lec_spring_2023 yet?

The entire vod, start to finish, unedited--including the dead air time--is what I enjoy.-

if anyone ever wants to talk league of legends esports to me i'm super down.
lec rosters this year look rly exciting. g2 prolly gonna stomp the league again but i think there are realistic worlds where 8/9 of the rest of the teams could possibly make a run up to second. should be a tight year.
(also good lord that heretics roster has me reliving the EU glory days fr, I hope they don't just end up completely washed)-

I'm that weird American who watches the LEC and not the LCS, a traitor to my people
My interest comes and goes but when I like it, I can watch for hours.-

i've bounced around teams. was originally an Origen fan back in the day (I got to see them live in Leicester when they revived their roster for EU masters back in like 2018) but they fell apart and then I was with MAD Lions 2021/2022 and Vitality last here. Gonna be supporting Heretics this year and I'm hella looking forward to the split.
