Only the first half of that is my posting restriction (everything up to the exclamation mark; the rest is just me adding flavor). I figure I should mention this in case people start trying to google these phrases to see if they give any useful information about our roles.

"The Chairman said: "Let a hundred flowers bloom: let a hundred schools of thought contend.""

My quote seems out of place here, but I understand it. "Leave the capitilists. Let the socialists thrive with our thoughts. Even if we are content, this capitalistic threat will crush our blossoms." Remember these words as we continue.

Question, Yosarian: Were you forced to post *ALL* of the post restriction sentences, or did you just feel like doing it for whatever reason?

Possible follow-up question: If you weren't forced to post every single one of those, why would you post all of them? Also, which one(s) were you forced to post?

I was forced to post one of them. I was wondering if there was some kind of pattern, some way of figuring out which role was which based on which quote they posted. So, I figured I might as well confuse the issue by posting both my post restriction, AND everyone else's, as well as a few other random Mao quotes, just so that no one could tell which one it was that I had to say, just in case it later turns out that "all cops said X, all vanillia townies said Y, all masons said Z", ect.
Probably just paranoia on my part, but hey, it's a paranoid game. :)

Hmmm, I'll buy that for now. My first impression was that you posted all of them because you had a shady reason to hide which one is your real restriction. Which I'm not going to drop completely, but I'm not going to pursue it at the moment.

(shrug) If it helps, my restriction was one of the restrictions someone else had already said, which was part of the reason i was worried that there might be a pattern.

I would never say Y. It's stupid.

I don't think it could help us now, but I think that the restrictions might help us in the future. Just a thought.

I also suspect LoudmouthLee. Real lazy people copy and paste, that don't type anything that's already been typed before (Example: LoudmouthLee's name).

So some of you actually have posting restrictions in your roles where you have to post a certain Mao/Communist quote every day? I don't have a particular quote to say, I was just having fun with the restriction that was apparently given to all of us with today's day scene.

Knowing that there are restrictions on some people is interesting, but not particularly helpful, especially since we don't know whether the scum is in support of or a rebellion against our great and beloved leader Mao Zedong.

VM, I guess "Non-Capitalist" counts as enough of a grovel :)

Anyway, just because it interests me and to hopefully help get the ball rolling, here's a list of all apparent post restrictions thus far:

1. Cogito Ergo Sum* - "Long live Chairman Mao, the Great Helmsman!" and/or "Let us go forth and slay all that oppose us!"
2. TSAGod* -
3. Fritzler* - "The Chairman wrote:"Classes struggle, some classes triumph, others are eliminated!""
4. Twomz* "The Communist Manafesto shall become the new Bible for all the Earth!" (possibly?)
5. chamber * - "Down with Soviet revisionism!"
6. Coron *
7.Glork* - "Follow Mao Zedong Thought!"
8. mlaker
9. Y* - "We stand for self-reliance!"
10. PookyTheMagicalBear * - "Smash the capitalist roaders!"
11. SOS*
12. LoudMouthLee - "Down with capitalist roaders!"
13. Vismaior* - "Follow Mao Zedong Thought!"
14. BabyJesus* - "Inspire the struggle of revolutionary people!"
15. Yosarian2* - one of the others, unknown
16. Ameliaslay* - "Down with petty-bourgeois fanaticism!"
17. Tamuz* - "Chairman Mao is the red sun in our hearts!"
18. igota75*
19. thedocsalive*
20. The Unwritten *
21. Pug89 * - "Let new socialistic culture establish on every field!"
22. mystery meat of doom*
23. Shamrock*
24. feuerdrache*
25. argos_kos*
26. Bacde
27. Vaughn*
28. Thok* - "The enemy will not perish of himself!"

There's a couple other things people said that I could have interpreted as post restrictions but that I'm not 100% sure of.

Some of those people also haven't posted yet.
