Absolutely! We should have invitationals as they are a great boost to people's ego/confidence. It felt great to be invited to Phoebus' invitational even if I did die night 1. About the number of games, I'd say, have no more than 2 of them running at the same time. With games taking about 3 months that would mean 4-8 games a year.

I think invitationals should follow their name. Players should be selected by the mod or some other small panel. I could also see selection criteria as scummie winners, or winners of certain games. (Have games that, as poker players would say, are qualifiers to the invitational).

I believe, under no circumstances should voting be used as the sole criterion.

Can I nominate some people?

I like the idea of an Alphabet Invitational, although I'm not sure about my chances against Mr. Stoofer, Mr. Flay, MrBuddyLee, mole, Mastermind of Sin, etc. That is quite a line-up and a lot of misters...
