Early Morning Mafia

Moderator: Skruffs
The game is now over. and ended on Post 634.

Today is an ordinary day in an ordinary man's life. Joe Zmęczony's life, that is.
This particular day is a Wednesday. However, it is pretty much like every other day in Joe's work week. Eight hours on the job, dinner, and then to sleep. However, Joe's not at work yet. Joe is still in bed. That is because it is 6AM. It's time for Joe to wake up. This is where you come in. Joe has 'helpers'. Helpers who want Joe to wake up. YOU are one of those helpers.

What kind of helpers? You've probably had them around you all your life, and never really realized it.. Small, annoying things that you wish you didn't have to deal with when you are cozy in la-la land. But they're there, and they are real.
You
have the honor... the
priviledge
... of being one of those annoying items.
Note : Annoyances are not actually limited to tangible 'items'.

RULES AND ROLES (as stolen from Brizzy Boi and slightly altered)

Rules

1.) This game is a day start. People who can speak to each other during the night may do so until day starts.
2.) During the day you can vote for a player that you think should be lynched. Votes must be in the form
Vote: Player
otherwise they won't be counted. It is not necessary for players to unvote before switching their votes, but it DOES earn brownie points.
3.) When a player reaches a majority of votes, they are lynched. I will reveal their role, and the game will move into night. Players can still talk during twilight.
4.) If discussion is lagging or the day is dragging, I may set a deadline. If there is a tie at deadline, the most recent votes will be removed, until there is a majority.
5.) No talking to other players, dead or alive, outside of the thread, unless your role permits it.
6.) Once dead, you stop posting. A gah post is fine though.
7.) If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
8.) Try to post at least once every 48 hours. Treat the game as a committment. If you go inactive, you will be replaced.
9.) I'll post votecounts every 24 hours if necessary. Feel free to ask for a votecount at any time. This being my first time modding, I may make mistakes. Point them out at your whim.
10.) Avoid excessive profanity, flaming etc.
11.) Have fun!
12.) Instead of "Town or Mafia" alignments, players have "Work or Sleep" alignments. They may also be other alignments in play. For the purposes of this game, Work = Good, Sleep = Bad.

PARTIAL REVEAL OF A TOWN ROLE

You are (Flavor text).

You win when all threats to Joe going to work have been eliminated.

Dwoop! Dwoop! Dwoop!
*Crash! Clatter! Spill!*

"For all the love of..." Joe scrunched up his eyes at the sound outside. Sitting up in bed, he glared through the window. Outside, accross the street, the garbage men had skimmed over a row of cans, their contents strewn and ripped accross the sidewalk. They shouted to each other as they tossed the bags intot he machine. The truck idled and chugged, and it was overall, a very, very annoying thing. But not for long.
LE SLAM!

Outside Noises, Townie
, has been deactivated.

Joe peered out through the freshly closed window, the sounds of the ruckus outside muted almost completely out. It was a good thing.
Joe went back to bed... and in less than a minute, was asleep.

It is now
6:00 AM
, and Day One starts
Now
.

With 12 alive, it takes
7
to lynch.

I have no idea what that just meant.

What I want to know is if "Sleep" equates to mafia all the time, and if all the 'sleep'-ers can talk to each other at night.

I know, it's just a piece of helpful information. Did you see my vote move?

Er... Just because it says that the Sleep=Bad, it doesn't mean the Sleep equates to mafia. I was wondering if they could talk at night, among other things.

Vote: TSQ
for having the latest vote on me, putting me at lynch-3, I think.

So voting for you is a scum tell? Seems OMGUS to me.....

Nai, Just wondering if you read the last 4-5 posts?

13,14, and 16 to be specific.

Posted: Sat Mar 17, 2007 9:48 am
by Nai
Yes? What do those three have to do with me? They're about IH's random vote and a vote on him after that. How does this stop me from being at Lynch -3?

TSQ: And no, voting for me isn't a scumtell. However, putting me at lynch -3 for a perfectly reasonable question about the game IS scummy.

Nai. That was about Shea (TSQ) putting you at Lynch minus 3.

Sometimes I forget everyone doesn't call him Shea.

When is wagoning ever a good stratetgy... unless you are SCUM?
Unvote Nai, VOTE: Thestatusquo

Wagoning is a good strategy to get conversation started.

Wagoning is not inherently scummy......
