yeah, that's likely the method I'll use next time. It was less ideal in that it involved a TON of "well X would NEVER choose to be scum" arguments, which the tokens did somewhat avoid (though the argument against swaps was strongest when focusing on how swapping reintroduced that factor back in). But I also felt like fewer people got really discouraged (other than the Screaming Death Clan who drew 3/4 scum).
I feel like team!mafia was very all consuming. but I don't regret it.
mebbe some of us just need a break.
in other news metal played incredibly well, good grief it was so hard to get him lynched but that was the lynch that mattered cos if he wld have made it to lylo he wld have won, more than likely.
I had a discussion with quadzypants on how town/sided and scum/sided nightless is and we had differing opinions. in the nightless games that I have played/spectated scum won more of them. he pointed out that town win more nightless games on ms and it gives food for thought.
I guess it could depend on the town, but it just seems incredibly difficult for scum to win a nightless game. And not necessarily because there's no way to get rid of the strong town players, but also because the lack of a night phase doesn't give you a refresher period and can increase fatigue. It can do that for town to I guess, but no break is just difficult when you have to try to fool people nonstop without a break.

Anyway, to those saying they'll play (or not play) next year, it won't be until 2017 earliest (honestly, I thought the 3 year turnaround was pretty good, but 2 years might be good too). I think people's stamina and interest for this type of thing is reduced if it's done too often, not to mention this is a pretty big undertaking for me, and it means that for about 6 months I don't get to run any other games that I want to run.
Ho Ho! 2 years! We're all going to be old.
Glad I had the opportunity to take part in this installment! It was one of the most intense games that I have ever played, and it affects me in all angles.
I love my team. I love Westeros circlejerk.
I was able to know more players on a closer personal level. I think that's great.
though, if I did win my nightless, my team won't have won, but then Westeros would have! And every1 would definitely be happy! grumblegrumble

The scum win that was the most harrowing in my long list of scum games was a 4:8 vanilla nightless. Mollie was there <3
Congrats to Young and Beautiful, and apologies to all for my disengagement and replace-out. A huge thanks for 4nxi3ty for replacing in for me and also to my scumteam for being a really great scum team. I'm sorry I let you down guys.
rather than release the whole topic, I believe Cockettes will be providing selective quotes:

I've never seen Mara play, but her first post struck me as uber try hard. LMAO BPC SAID THE SAME THING.
ETL is likely town for the jump onto Mara. It's a really bad jump, but it reads as genuine. I don't think scum would attack town for skipping RVS? Why do you think "knee jerk" = "scum"? Town also plays kneejerky. Plus the way she calls out Mara reading her as town? I just don't see ETL-scum doing that.
BPC lookin sketch af
Molla can be town for now with that lmao worthy intro post

Spoiler: On My Ability to Read Bbmolla

I still think his early D1 personality of being all, "i'm town, come at me bros" would be pretty out of characters/ballsy for scum-molla to do. Plus his whole "lynch me now and get it over with if you're going to do it" sentiment seems genuine and thus comes from town

I would imagine he's talking about the Alquin counterclaim
