It's been my dream all game to lynch Mizzy...but it doesn't feel quite right anymore...

The square is again abuzz with activity. Mizzy proclaims her innocence one last time as she grimly steps up to the gallows. With a quick jerk, she hangs, her neck snapped by the force.

Gunshots. Flameaxe clutches his side as he writhes in agony upon the ground.

Another shot rings out. -TinVision- collapses, his forehead hemorrhaging blood at a rather rapid rate. The three of them were but townies.

Shanba and Sephiroth exchange glances of triumph. Dozerville is theirs. The nightmare is over.

And the darkness won.

Good game, but cripes, that was poorly played in the endgame for town. Nice job, scummers, I was sure as hell that Shanba was town.

That early kab distancing really worked out well. Pushing the lynch wagon on him was good, too. Elias is an amazing scum partner - I'm astonished at the way he managed to make pushing a mislynch look like a townie move. Major kudos for that. With both of us looking town, it was simply a case of pushing enough wagons to look like we were scumhunting while not pushing too many too hard - the mizzy - flameaxe situation was simply awesome for us, as it was inevitably going to lead to one of them being lynched and all we had to do was sit back and wait. The Mispeled wagon was good fun, as it distracted from the mizzy/flameaxe thing until it would hurt them in endgame. We eventually had a scenario where it would probably have been possible to get a mislynch on any of the surviving townies with 6p alive.

Kab - sorry about the bus, but it really worked out well.

There were some bits that were sloppy - my distancing with Elias early on when I replaced in was bad and Elias' abdication of responsibility towards the end made me wonder whether it would be necessary to bus him too, but it worked out alright. It was great to replace in to a position where I wasn't suspected, my predecessor had been playing reasonably well, and it was awesome the way all the power roles just melted into insignificance.

also, if anyone tries to lynch someone based on appeals to emotion, it is a mountain of shit. I can not believe no one went after Elias the following day..

No hard feelings Shanba! I made a huge frickin mistake with CKD. I accidentally let Seph's name slip, and I had to come up with some excuse. I thought that was the end. But Seph played it off well, and so I pretty much resigned myself to being a bus target, which actually worked better than trying to defend myself...

Shanba had me fooled completely with the Kabenon lynch, but i wasnt so convinced about Seph as i watched you guys play. Even though i was part of the game for only a short while, I feel that there was almost no way for town to win by the end with all of the suspicion on Mizzy and the endless pages that most people probably wouldnt want to go back and read. Great game everyone, and awesome job Shanba and Seph! Oh, and btw, srry kab about your lynch ;D

Jesus, I can't believe this game is actually over. This is the second game I ever joined, the first being mod-abandoned. I've finished four games since. haha

I kind of wish I hadn't been killed night 1, and even if I had been, it would have changed things to be the Doc. In Day 2 I asked JDodge if I could replace in, but he said I shouldn't since I was the Doc. I would have been all over Seph's back. =D

lol, TinVision. I was really wondering why his lurking wasn't a bigger issue. And also why on earth he hadn't been replaced. I thought he was scum till the end just because I had no reason to think otherwise.

And it seems I was right about the Shanba-Sephiroth distancing thing. But I'd forgotten all about it as the game went on.

The town played badly this game with some particularly miserable performances =/. That's not to say that scum didn't play well. Well done guys.

I feel for Mizzy. She didn't deserve to be lynched. I guess I won't be taking any of Flameaxe's hunches seriously. =P

I feel badly that my death was the death that lost us the game, and no matter what I did, I couldn't get Flameaxe to get over his vendetta. Flame, I'm sure you're nice and all, but you really made this game unfun for me.

I'm glad it's over and while I wish it hadn't been such a crushing defeat, at least it's done with now.
