Welcome to the peaceful village of Fontgrade. Well, peaceful until the day a mafia mob started to operate here, ruining long times of peace. People used to rely on each other once, but now everyone must suspect everyone.

The village inhabitants have decided to fight this menace and plan to convene general meetings for the following days, where every household should be represented and take part.

General Rules:

1. Behave well
2. Do not talk outside of the thread unless your role says you can do it
3. Always follow strictly the rules stated on your role private messages
4. Do not quote role private messages. You may paraphrase them but don't go too far
5. Do not write in excessively small text, or with a lot of colors, or in any other type of hard-to-read text
5. After you are officially dead, you are allowed to write ONE post, as soon as it is not game relevant
6. Talking during twilight is allowed

The moderator's decisions about these rules or about any other subject not contemplated above are supreme. If you break any of these rules, you will be modkilled and will not be able to play any other games I will host.

Game Rules:

1. Each day phase, players will decide who to lynch by casting votes on that person. Once a majority is reached, the person will be lynched
2. Should a deadline be placed, a majority is no longer required to lynch a person. At the end of the deadline, the person with most votes will be lynched. If there is a tie, nobody will be lynched
3. To cast your vote on JohnPlayer, for example, write

. Always write your votes likewise. Votes out of this format will not be counted, except for those with messed bold tags (which I will correct)
4. You can also vote for a no-lynch day, by simply writing

5. If you are unhappy with your vote, annul it by writing

It's something called the

Mafia Buddying Technique

, in which a mafia member makes friends with a townie (or the town as a whole) and rides on the fact that, since they are friendly, they probably aren't scum.

It's been used quite a few times before, and is a common newbie scum tell. It often, as said before, manifests itself one of two ways.

1) They agree with everything a pro town player says wholeheartedly. They piggyback on the ideas of others. I despise this, and absolutely hate it when I see it happen. I consistenly vote people on this point.

2) They're a joker. They make these joke posts that seem incredibly inconsequential, and in turn, they are viewed as a "non-threat" and get largely ignored. I consistently vote people on this point early in the game. It becomes more of a null tell later on, as the player is already established.
