Ok, is anybody here going to admit to being mafia? I didn't think so. A mafia will claim to be a townie to not get lynched. A cop will claim to be a townie to not get night-killed. So if my math is correct, that means EVERY single one of us is claiming to be a townie. So what's the big deal about what I said?

My point is, the rest of you may not have come out and said "I am a townie", but you are all implicitly saying it just by the nature of the game (unless somebody wants to take this opportunity to admit they're mafia....ok I didn't think so). Claiming a power role is a different story, but claiming as a townie? Shouldn't even be called "claiming" because we are all doing it.

Again a bit ridiculous posting how we should play day 1 when you joined less than 2 weeks ago from this post.

I wish you would describe which part of my "stupid mistake" you had a problem with, instead of just calling it a "pitiful cover up". You didn't list a single reason for why my logic was flawed. If you'd care to list those reasons, I'd love to hear them

It's fairly obvious why your logic is flawed you are being over protective for a day 1.

Yes but you have been too protective for day 1. a bit suspicious if I was a townie on day 1 I would not be screaming I'm town. I would look over post and think was this vote serious? Am I sure? I'ld then think well what am I going to do do I defend? If you are nearly lynch with serious votes then yes. If not just ignore it. Day 1 bandwagons are harmless

My suspicions?.....I'm always suspicious of people who take an overly active role. The whole "Hey, I am a good townie and I want to help out the townie team by really vigorously investigating everybody!" play-style always strikes me as scummy.

Ok, I guess I can see how you misunderstood. Here's what I was asking for, a break down of every player and how you feel about them. For example:

Corn, I think he's messed up a bit and i'm leaning toward newb scum. His joke vote then heartfelt command to the rest of the town after the joke was joked back seemed sincere but was so far from necessary there is no excuse. I would like to pressure this guy more because he's either a dangerous townie or scum.

See? I broke down how yo'uve played through my perspective, I told a little bit about what you've done that's caught my attention and then said

How can you be so sure that he'll come up town? And if you really are so certain, why are you voting him?
It also looks to me like pre-emptive threatening to stop potential Cornelius hammahs. Seems like he's trying to go with the town's flow, while simultaneously defend Cornelius. And I'm not liking it.

I don't see how you think White thinks Corn is town from that post - he's saying give Corn some time to make more mistakes and out his scum buddies. This seemed very obvious to me, so the fact that you are using an argument full of holes to take pressure off of Corn makes me think you and him are scum.

If you hammer on page 3, even if Corn is scum (as I suspect) you still ruin chances for us to see him point out teammates. It's perfectly legit for a scumbuddy to quickhammer bus Corn and end up looking clean because of it.

I'm not defending Corn, i'm saying I don't want a hammer on page 4 because then we're no better off than we started save having 1 less scum. I don't think he's town, I think he's scum, as evidenced by my very next sentence which you ignored.

Every time one person mentions even the possibility of you being scum, you address it directly almost immediately. It is definitely defensive. That can be kinda scummy, but it can also be hyperactive posting. I'm currently of the opinion that its the latter, and I'm not going to complain about posting a lot. The accusation isn't exactly out of the blue, though.
