Mini 520 - Triumvirate Mafia - ABANDONED

The night was long. Winter snows adorned the Council House as the councillors met to discuss the ongoing war with the Eastern tribes. Each councillor, bedecked in robes of white, solemn, bearded faces gazing slowly at each other down the heavy wooden table.

"Dear brothers... I have received news. We have won a great victory in the Furthol Valley. The power of the tribes is broken - we should be totally victorious by spring." The High Lord spoke slowly and solemnly, his face stern. "Now, to press our advantage, I suggest..."

Sounds of a struggle outside interrupted his words. A resentful murmuring broke out around the table.

"What's the meaning of this?" "Hrm?" "Silence, the High Lord is speaking!" "I demand to know what is going on!" "Silence!"

The door to the council chambers collapsed inwards as a figure dressed in council robes appeared round the corner, chased by several guards.

"Who is that man?" "What is going on?"

The intruder looked out around desperately, realising the game was up. Thinking quickly, he ran into the crowd of milling councillors, grabbing one by his robes and pushing him into the advancing guards. Quickly he ran down the table, upsetting goblets of wine and ripping carefully laid out maps and plans. Finally he reached the High Lord. Grabbing him by the neck, he produced a sword from somewhere inside his robes and held it at the High Lord's neck.

"Stay back. I will kill him."

Snarling, a guard rushed forward, ignoring the assassin's warning. "You aren't fit to lay your hands upon that man, scum!"

Dropping one hand off the councillor, he grabbed a dagger from a puch n the robes and hurled it at the guard's neck. "You dare call me scum? You, who under no provocation, indeed, when we were your allies, turned on us and attacked us out of nowhere? You, who slaughtered our families, burned our land and salted the soil, you call me scum?" Laughing, he slashed the sword across the High Lord's neck. "You can't stop us. Your precious council will soon be nothing more than a bunch of rotting corpses." Still laughing, he plunged the sword into his own chest.

The councillors looked at each other. Something would have to be done. This was getting quite out of hand. Luckily, they still had something up their sleeves - the triumvirate.

phate (Townie) - lynched Day 1
Flyinghawk
Mizzy (Townie) - killed Night 1

The setup is open - that is, the roles in the game are known at the start.

Triumvirate wrote:You are one of the triumvirate. You channel one of the powers that the town controls, and without you they would not work. Each night your power (cop, doc or roleblocker) is distributed to a random player for a single night. That player can be anyone currently alive in the game, including yourself. If you are nightkilled, your power will no longer be distributed. If you are lynched, all three powers will fail. You do not know what your power is. You win when the scum are eliminated

Townie wrote:You are one of the councillors summoned to the war meeting by the High Lord before his untimely death. You have no inherent powers, but each night one (or more) of the powers controled by the triumvirate may be sent your way. Use your vote wisely. You win when the scum are eliminated.

Mafia wrote:You are one of the assassins. After the last crushing defeat suffered by your kin, you were chosen for a crucial mission - destruction of the Grand Council of the Alliance. However, a mistake was made, and you were exposed before your mission could be completed. You may choose someone to kill each night, and you may also receive one or more of the triumvirate powers. For the purposes of the roleblocker power, the scum who sends in the kill choice is assumed to have made the kill. Your partners are X and X. You win when all the town are dead or such a thing is inevitable.
confirmation stage - please confirm in thread or by PM. Mafia will be allowed to talk until everyone is confirmed.

RULES (heavily "inspired" by various other mods):

1) Don't break the spirit of the rules. If you can see a loophole, that's all well and dandy, but it'll probably still get you modkilled.

2) The game will start in day. Until all confirmations are received (which should be done by PM), any groups who can nighttalk may talk.

3)Don't quote any PMs I send you. Doing so will result in an instant modkill and a banning from any future games I run.

4)Votes should be in Bold Type and in the format Vote: XXX. This isn't a hard and fast rule, but it makes things easier for me and I can't guarantee your vote will be counted if posted otherwise.

5)When a majority of votes are reached, the player will be lynched. You may post in twilight, however if you are dead you may not post any more information relevant to the game. Dead men tell no tales. Feel free to post a "bah" post though.

6) At deadline, the player with the most amoount of votes will be lynched

7)Please send any nightchoices you send as quickly as possible. Long night phases are no fun for anyone.

8)Do not edit any posts you make.

9 )Don't post invisibly or in incredibly small font. There's not much point, anyway.

10)Please let me know in advance if you are going to be away. If you are inactive without warning for 48 hours, I will send a prod. If that prod is not picked up in a further 48 hours, I will search for a replacement. If you manage to contact me before I find a replacement, you can continue with your place in the game, but after I've found one it's too late.

11) Don't imitate the mod. You look stupid and you're not fooling anyone.

12)Just because I may have forgotten rules doesn't mean you can break them.

Considering the fact that I have started every game with an
identical
