I think the setup randomly rolled scumsided. In fact, it could have ended night 1: Ranger dayvigs Ircher (as actually happened), RadiantCowbells gets lynched, a townie gets NKed, then coming into day 2 we have five living players including two scum and a survivor = scum victory (I think most mods would play this one out but the survivor can autowin by repeatedly changing their vote until there's a quickhammer).

I thought Vengeful only triggered on lynches? Also, I'm finding it hard to find a combination for venge-Cupiding that would prevent an instant scum victory (I think RadiantCowbells+groupscum as the targets might have worked, not sure though.)

Anyway, it's a Grand Idea game, some amount of imbalance is pretty much inevitable. If you want to avoid the risk of blowouts, you'd have to use a different randomization method, e.g. generating more than 9 roles and throwing some away based on mod discretion. (Recently, Sméagol and I have been adding a ton of roles where the moderator gets to pick the alignment, both to help give the moderator tools to balance an imbalanced game and to prevent meta-determining the alignment from the role, but it's hard to make a major difference to a thread that long.)
