rb, you do realize there's a huge number of factions in this game, right? I'm 99% every faction we've seen flip so far is town, though not necessarily all of them can win with each other. I'm also like, 90% the Individual Human faction could win with ANY of them. There's nothing I've seen that requires the Individual Human Faction to be a group of xenophobic fuckheads. Literally the factions that have flipped thus far are confirmed town based on mechanics; their wincons are "eliminates all threats" not "control's 50% of the votes" which is listed as the scum wincon in the mechanics post. You need to stop being so closed-minded about this, actually look at the flavor of the people who are flipping, and really THINK "does this sound like a threat to me?" rather than just seeing "oh it's a faction oh hurr durr vampires r evil guess that's scum."

The way this town works is that there's various town factions, all or virtually all of which have a number of mutual enemies (right now I suspect a Wulden and Nosferatu faction, as well as a full cult we're mod confirmed to know nothing about, not the recruiter factions we've seen which were explained in the mechanics posts). However, not every town faction can necessarily win with every town faction, there MIGHT be some conflict there. But again, I'm positive the Individual Humans are the neutrals that can win with all of them.

By the way, ill only use my ability again, if im watched (not protected, that might cause the watcher to have a false positive), because if i got redirected im feeding info to whoever redirected me instead of who we are interested in, and since no one claimed to have redirected me, im going to assume this redirector if existant, is scum aligned (Actually i may use it but not out results neither here nor in the hood). Not going to say for any watcher to out, but a general promise would be nice.

I just dont feel comfortable using my ability for whichever scum team did the deed.

For any player who expresses this opinion, my answer is consistently along these lines:
If your issue is with something about the game itself and/or my moderation, I will do everything in my power to help. I will clarify, I will attempt to make clear, I will try to make sure you understand so you're not miserable, and if you still feel lost, ask again and I'll try again because I want to be there for my players for whatever reason, but something MY fault above all else!

If your issue is with something about a player or multiple players, feel free to express it, either publicly or privately (though privately reaches me much, much faster), and while I can't handle literally every problem (for instance, the rapid posting issue), what I

I cannot answer the first.
If a player's ability to fakeclaim is a personal ability, it will be known at their flip. However, if it is a factional ability, it will be redacted.

Not saying I will, but unless we have a lead, SOMETHING, how am I supposed to work with this?

What we know is that there are factions, but there's been nothing that says they are Town or Scum, and anything that can give us clues has been redacted.

Perhaps if you look at it in terms of World War III: Most of Europe allied with North America, Israel, Australia, Japan, and South Korea; South and Central America allied with Spain and Portugal; Most African countries allied with each other; China allied with most of Asia; Most Mideast countries allied with each other; Russia and India each standing alone. So - who's the good guy? I think it's whatever alliance I live in, you think it's your alliance, everyone thinks their alliance is the good guy.

At least that's how I think this setup's being promoted.
