So after what seems like an eternity of Oman and Phate shouting NO U at each other, kuribo just can't take it anymore and decides Oman has to go. farside22 : "Oh wait a second, we're supposed to take control of this town right?"
TylerJ snores loudly.

And with that the merry quartet of Phate, shaft.ed, kuribo and farside22 string up the Doctor Oman.
Even with half the town's population being mafia, it still takes many years for Tarhalindur, kuribo and Phate to be bumped off. Be thankful we didn't have to play it out.

I wasn't 100% we were at LyLo and I didn't think Tyler was ever going to place a vote so I waited on someone else to do it. I also worried that Tyler wasn't around to do the quick hammer and I would look scummie for a quick vote.

We were handicapped from the getgo by the No Lynch with three town kills on N1.

No, we were handicapped from the get=go because the setup is broken in the Mafia's favor.

Why? As far as I can tell, having played in both Quack Mafia games, optimal player for the town is to play the setup as mountainous (or MAYBE to have everybody protect the same person, but that's not much better IMO), and 9-3 mountainous is strongly scum-leaning.

The setup needs -1 Quack no matter what, and probably either only 2 scum or 2 2-man scumgroups.

The obvious play should have been to take a chance on killing fictiondepartment's intended circle protect victim. Since that was Lulubelle, and fictiondepartment had only one post at the time, they'd have gotten their N2 kill a day early.

Crub. I know what you mean. I've been waiting for Tyler to cast a vote for weeks now. If he had just cast one against Oman or Phate farside or I could have easily switched our votes. It was driving me insane.

I felt bad for the town on this one. After N1 it seemed noone was really trying. The craziest part was that by the time I logged in to check the thread the No Lynch was already voted through. I couldn't believe that.

Tar, I agree the set-up is broken. The roles aren't worth using. Changing it to two quacks and 7 Docs might be worth trying.

Oman, while my argument against you sucked, it was just a mirror of your argument against me. I was actually just doing it so that if I got lynched today (which I expected after Tar's recent post) the town would be behooved not to lynch Phate tommorow. And you had me found out on Page 2 Nice work.

Kuribo, I wanted to kill off fictiondepartment's target, and that kill would have gone through. But If the circle protect had been completely carried out in both directions it would have outed One of us as scum. Didn't think it would be carried to conclusion, but depending on how many NK's were successful N1 there might have been a second round of circle protecting. In retrospect this wouldn't have worked for the town, so we should have targeted Lulu N1 instead of vollkan.

I'd think it would be obvious that I am protown, but obviously we have some blind people being snowed by the likes of shaft.ed and Oman. Look at how shaft.ed continually voiced his support for suspicion on me and for lynching me, but he made sure his vote was elsewhere when I was lynched. I'd look long and hard at him tomorrow.

Forgive me. I didn't think you guys would switch your vote if I placed mine. I was hesitant on placing a vote in an attempt to quickhammer because people might see my intentions and target me. Not to mention that this weekend was filled with play productions. Today I was actually planning on placing a vote. For convinience to you all, and again I apologize. I will wait until I have a more permisable schedule before I sign up for more games.

All I can say is that I did learn a few things about what should and shouldn't be done. IE, if the effects are benefical, attempt to quicklynch if your scum.

For Now on I will VLA weekends as Shaft.ed has done.

No, but he was the most likely to flake. My initial theory was to kill the target of the player least likely to put in a Night Choice.
