Mass claiming: I was fairly down with it a while ago. Whenever Wherever. But so's you know, I deal with mass claims on a cop and doc basis. So who we still need to hide. Let's see:

The dead include:

Protectors

Xtoxm (replaced Sir Tornado) - Bruce Lee (Ninja Protector) - Lightsabered Night 2
Thok - Gandalf (Goblin Protector) - arm cleanly sliced off and skulled bashed in Night 3

Finders

DrippingGoofball - Jack Aubrey (Pirate Finder) - forced to walk the plank Night 1
Twomz - Bilbo Baggins (Goblin Finder) - filled full of rocks Night 4
Mgm - Sonny Chiba (Ninja Finder) - keelhauled Night 3

And all the pirates are dead (ahem. I called Rougeben. In your face CES)

So that means no cops and no docs need to remain hidden.

Therefore it makes absolutely no sense to
not
mass claim and the people who have opposed it today are fairly obviously scum.

Much love,

Cicero

More information is not always a good thing, cicero.

We aren't going to win this game without a scum crosskill. If the mass claim gives us any insight into alignment, then that'll probably lead to scum killing the wrong people.

I don't understand much from the discussion between CES, the Fonz and cicero, yet I feel it's important. CES, did you claim pirate protector or not?

I don't mind massclaiming.

Not voting: 8 (UltimaAvalon, ooba, The Fonz, Lawrencelot, Primate, cicero, Cogito Ergo Sum, Kison)

5 to lynch!

Deadline will be ~4th April.

Alright, time for some action. I think everybody should clearly say whether he thinks we should massclaim or not. Add yourself to the list.

Massclaim: yay or nay?

If you're voting "yay", then I'd like to see you respond to this:

My vote is a definite "nay".

I agree on this entirely, even though I still think CESscum is being deliberately obtuse and is refusing to talk about his partner, even in circumspect ways.

People need to vote. Now. Let's get some action going - make your best guesses.

I'm leaning towards one of UA or Primate myself. I didn't like a lot of what Primate was pushing yesterday, and his sudden radio silence after being asked some follow-up questions felt like a cheap out card to play.

I'd like both to chime in before I place my vote. If they don't... *clenches fist*

I don't get much of a scummyish feeling from Lawrence/Cicero. Fonz is minorish. Thesp I'm still holding off on because of the crosskill rule and his miraculous circumvention of it. None of the four dismissed.

CES right under Primate/UA. Need to reread Ooba.

Kison's town. Don't vote that guy.

Kison: Good point about Thesp and the cross-kill rule. That makes me feel better about Thesp as town. I know it had been stated before but I forgot it.

Yeah, I'm sorry about my lurking. Slipping back into bad habits. I'll make my case against you now.

I'm against the mass-claim because we have two confirmed innocents in the game, one in the form of the pirate protector, and the other in the form of the vanilla townie. We out them, and regardless of how small the game is, the scum
will
kill them instead of each other. If we run up the townie and the PP today, then I'll be in favour of a mass claim of the remaining people, but I just don't think the benefit outweighs the cost at this point.

Who do you think is scum? Care to place a vote? Care to talk about anyone in any meaningful fashion so as to move the game along, or are you content to sit and stall?

I missed that. It helps - it's going somewhere. Who else do you think is scum? There are presumably 4 out there.

I don't feel comfortable doing Pirate/Ninja, but it'd be

Town

cicero
ooba
Thesp
Neutral

The Fonz
Lawrencelot
Cogito Ergo Sum
Scummy

Kison
UltimaAvalon

A few things regarding that, though. Firstly is that if I had to pick people out of the two neutrals, it'd probably be Lawrence and C.E.S, though I'd have to do a lot of reading there and I'd still only pick those two because I think that Fonz has been the towniest. There's also something else which I don't want to talk about at the minute, but that shouldn't influence any of the questions you might want to ask me.

This is more helpful, but I'd advise against town lists right now. (I know, too late, I shouldn't have myself, etc.) I'm interested in who the four scum are more than the town right now.

Thanks.

Interesting you attribute machismo to your ability to avoid being lynched over your ability to find scum.
