My patience is unlimited for following a different link for the queue. I worry if we might miss out on site newbies figuring out how to join their first game, though.
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"
Yes, it's definitely a concern. That said, we DO have links under each actual forum that directs to the relevant sign up page as well. Still, this is definitely something Kison will have to take a look at because it's out of my control. Something wrong with the database given the SQL errors I've encountered is my guess, but I'm not sure what. Kison is a very busy guy and he's doing us some free work, so it might be a bit.

That sounds awesome. I'm 90% sure we didn't have this in 2008 and 10% sure I can't remember events that happened over a decade ago very well so this is new info to me that significantly dampens my concern.

Things I've learned.
1. It's just a game, have fun.
2. Don't waste time on people who think you are scum. Ignore them and keep scum hunting.
3. Don't take everything so personal.
4. Tunneling sucks (unfortunately I can't seem to stop)
believe me when i say i don't know as the admin cp still shows them in the right place -- but unmovable, uneditable, and just generally the forums have decided to be jerks. Putting up a marathon forum somehow ended up with New York also being put into a category no one can see, so I'm going to stop putting up workarounds as they have so far only made matters worse.
That said, a couple of kind people have offered to help fix it, and i've put them in contact with Kison (who is the person with access to the database), so hopefully we can get it sorted shortly. I don't have a timeline on this though, so please bear with us.
Sounds like Kison and I are going to get together and fix this tomorrow or the next day. It'll result in all of the forums being removed from their organization though, so be prepared to see things truly messed up until I can manually place them in the correct categories. I'm not sure how long that'll take, but I'm hoping no more than an hour. Just wanted to give an update of where we stand.
