@the 3 reasons- I was looking to either pivot myself or lead someone to hammer ranny.

Re not prodding for his result and autovoting- that was a scumslip. I overplayed for the info that was out because I knew I didn’t go anywhere and this was safe and given ranny claimed it was obv who he targeted. Which of course I’d only know that as scum lol

Pedit
Except I did scumslip d2 lol

My ideal world was someone sees someone else’s reasons for ranny and hammers while I bank on free towncred by sitting on peta.

Must've been a bit annoying when it actually made me switch my vote. Think you mentioned in the scum thread though, it did give you a lot of town cred from me.

Think I'll do another one of these, but idk. Game might not be for me. It can be quite fun, but can also be a serious drag when you're busy and know you have to make a post or you let other people in the game down. I'll give it another go then see what I think.

Thanks bork for running the game. I can imagine it wasn't very fun at times.

Like I said this game was a slog. Most are better- if you like slower games look for ones running the geriatric ruleset

I hope you will give MS another try. This wasn't a representative game at all.

I don't remember if you mentioned whether you've played mafia on other sites, but moving out of the newbie queue might work better for you. Micro games are mostly the same size (9 or fewer players) and you can pick and choose your games based on the mod and the player list. If you need any advice on potential games to join, I'm happy to help out. This goes for anyone!
Amid the pressure of great events, a general principle gives no help.

You know it (in my case anyway).

You know what, despite the result there was still alot of positives here.
Trust the newbie queue for grow a curveball like this!

I guess I could have come out of the gate a bit fiercer maybe and made more effort to control the narrative?
Towns never really in a good spot when I'm considered the diplomatic one of the bunch!
I was in a tough spot day one. It had a lasting effect on the game .
But my overall feelings are positive and I'm happy to have played with some good players and spotted a little diamond in the rough in ranny. Enjoyed having you as my rookie ride along!

More thoughts in the morning but there's still positives to be taken.

i will second that you should not let one bad game ruin things for you. you might have a better experience trying a game in a different queue.

Aw, thanks. You and the others who lasted made the game worth playing.

JDye was the newbie of the game, though.

I really enjoyed playing with JDye, he's another with alot of potential I feel.
Good posting style , analytical, and willing to put in those 4am shifts, sure it went wrong for him this time, but hopefully he learns from it.

Adorable was a good cameo, put alot of pressure on notscience where the rest of us were too passive , earned their NK.

CW just needs to learn to shitpost, and recognise humour and have some fun in-between trying to make the big gamesolvey posts I feel like he wants to make. Try doing five posts having fun, then a serious post about people's reactions and your (reasonably solid ) gut instinct, rather than trying to shoot the big three pointers all the time, then bottling it because you are scared of missing.

@ peta I hope we can play again on a more level field

@ notscience - you were just rubbish lol GG

Oh and of course last but not least, @DKK those posts you spent a minute thinking about and putting some effort into did alot more that all the guttoral one liners put together. Think about it.
