Welcome to Mushroom Kingdom Mafia! This is the story of Bowser’s most cunning attack on the Mushroom Kingdom so far. He might even win this battle, for the first time in history. 1) Not following the rules could get you modkilled or replaced, depending on which rule.
2) The game will start in Day 1.
3) During the day the players have to vote like this: . If you switch votes you have to first. You can also . If your vote is not in bold or you didn’t properly unvote, it will not be counted. A lynch will occur when more than half of the votes are on one person or no lynch (note: see rules below).
4) When someone is lynched or nightkilled, his rolename and alignment will be revealed.
5) If you ask for a please do so in bold too, or send me a PM. I will try to give a votecount on the top of every page.
6) You may not discuss this game outside the topic, unless your role says you can, and if you can, you may only do so during the night.
7) During the night I will be waiting for players to send in their night actions. If this takes too long, I will set a deadline. The topic will be closed at night.
8) You may not discuss the game in or outside this topic when you are dead. A single “bah” post is allowed.
9) Editing posts is not allowed.
10) Quoting my PMs is not allowed. You can paraphrase.
11) When inactivity occurs I will prod or look for replacements, but you can ask me this for specific players too (in bold).
12) I may set a deadline at any particular time during the day, or when the day starts. At deadline, the amount of votes needed to lynch or no-lynch will be halved (rounded up); when there are not enough votes there will be no lynch (note: see rules below).
13) Mass-claiming is allowed, but not recommended for the town in this game.
14) If you don’t agree with any decision I make, or have any questions, send me a PM.
15) You should play to win, to have fun, and to let others have fun. So don’t get too personal in your discussions. And carefully read the rules below.


16) In this game there are no normal roles like vig, doc etc., due to the items in this game (see below). When someone dies, I will only reveal his rolename and alignment, not his role (example: Player1, Bowser (Bowser’s army), lynched Day 1 or Player 2, Mario (Mushroom Kingdom), killed Night 1). There is, however, at least one scumgroup, and that is an informed minority, and killing, protecting, investigating etc. might appear in this game just as you’re used to.
17) The votes of some roles are worth more than other’s votes, so the day might end while it may seem that not enough votes are on one person (or the day doesn’t end while it seems someone has enough votes). Therefore, there will be a difference between a and a . I will not show the real votecount until either of the votecounts has more than half the votes on one person. If your role says nothing about the value of your vote, it probably counts for 1, but nothing is sure. After anyone has enough real votes to lynch, the game is in twilight until the lynch scene is posted, and voting/unvoting can not prevent that person from being lynched anymore.
18) If the day ends because of a deadline, , whether a lynch happens or not. At deadline, the amount of real votes needed for a lynch is half the amount of real votes normally needed for a lynch (rounded up), but only the visible votes are shown. When several people have more than half of the real votes at deadline, the one with the most real votes is lynched. In case of a tie, I will look at who had the most real votes before the amount of real votes were tied.
19) Everybody has a certain amount of , which can be used to buy . I will pm you every night to tell you how many coins you have. You only know how many coins you have yourself. It is possible that you will receive more coins during the night, or lose some, but I will not tell you how or why, the only thing you know is how many coins you have.
20) You can items during the night, and them during the night. This is done by sending me a PM at night in which you say which item you want to buy. These are the items you can buy:
-(3 coins): protects yourself against one fireflower for one night.
-(3 coins for protown players, 5 coins for others): grants you one nightkill.
-(5 coins for protown players, 3 coins for others): you can see which side someone belongs to: town or not.
-(8 coins): protects yourself against multiple kills for one night, and grants you one nightkill. If you use this nightkill on someone who is on your side, he will not be killed. If you use this nightkill on someone who uses a mushroom or is immune to fireflowers, he will be killed (unless he’s on your side).
21) You can only use one item each night. You can only hold one item. You can only buy one item each night. But you can use an item right away when you buy it, or decide to keep it. For instance, you can pm me this during the night if you have no night actions: “I want to buy a fireflower for 5 coins, and use it on Lawrencelot right away.” Buying items comes before using items, so you can’t buy an item right after you used one.
22) It is also possible to give coins or items to someone else. However, this has to be done publicly in the thread, and only during the day, and in bold. Example: “ I will post in thread whether the transaction was succesful or not. The transaction might fail, for example, when you want to give an item to someone who is already holding an item.
23) When someone is killed at night, the person who killed him gets the coins. Items are gone when someone dies or gets lynched, but coins aren’t.
24) This doesn’t count for mushrooms, as they only target the person who uses it.
25) Bowser may try to kidnap princess Peach during the night. The town has to prevent that. When Peach is kidnapped at night, the kidnapper has to be lynched the next day or else .
26) As you may have noticed from rule 25), Peach plays an important role in this game, so if you’re town make sure you prevent her from getting kidnapped.
