I don't have much time right now, but quick round up of what I think of recent stuff:

Greasy Spot still seems scummy to me, but the speed of the wagon on him is obviously alarming. Ashmite's vote seems obviously the scummiest, putting Greasy Spot at lynch-1 without even a warning, and without adding any content whatsoever. In fact, he's generally added practically nothing to the game, except for critisising mnowax for saying too much about his role. Coaster.

The fact that Greasy Spot voted Dasquian of all people is also odd, and might be a slight connection between him and ashmite84.

My vote would only be OMGUS if I didn't include any kind of reasoning with it, which I did include.

Your reasoning made no sense. He didn't blindly vote you (he gave a reason, whether you agree with it or not is another matter). Your accusation of "blind voting" looks like it applies more to ashmite84 or mnowax.

Patrick does not make a case against me on this page. He says I'm trying to jump on an easy opportunity of populartajo while I am actually just putting my thoughts about his claims in the thread. If I haven't voted someone then I can't possibly be jumping on them.

Lack of vote doesn't mean you weren't attacking him. This is a pretty silly defence.

I don't have much time, but I just wanted to say that I read the few last posts and I don't like that wagon.

Yes some of his reasoning was defective, but I didn't get any scummy feeling from Greasy Spot.

Right now, ashmite84 (active lurking, unbacked up vote), Nightson (lurking) or populartajo look like better choices to me.

For the record, I agree that the speed of the Greasy Spot wagon was worrying and that the later contributors look scummy for it.

HOWEVER

I'm keeping my vote there. We have 3 days til deadline. At deadline, there is a no lynch. There is no credible alternative bandwagon. Greasy Spot has provided no reason for me to move my vote, and I would presume my own perceived innocence here and say that by picking me to vote for, hasn't provided a credible alternative bandwagon.

Right now it looks to me like the choices are:

1) Hit deadline with no lynch.
2) Rush-lynch someone else.
3) Talk about lynching Greasy Spot and do it in the next day or two.

(1) and (2) are shockingly bad ideas. (3) isn't great - after all, he's our first real bandwagon of the game - but it's better than (1) or (2). I wish we had

4) Spend another week or so deliberating on who would be a better bandwagon then lynch them.

...but we don't, largely thanks to mnowax's antics.

This in itself is scummy as hell. Why would a townie want to jump on a bandwagon, especially one with sound logic behind it. The triple claimer and the day-vig have done things far worse than I have in this game. All I've done is scum-hunt unlike the majority of the people in this game currently.

You of all people should've been leading a charge to get one of those other people lynched. You didn't and now there's not enough time to get a satisfactory lynch on them, so you get to go instead.

I agree that with only 3 days to go, it will be very difficult to find a suitable lynch candidate in place of greasy. Combine that with his reactions of late and I think that no matter what his alignment we'll get more information out of it than if we rush off and speedlynch another person.

If greasy flips scum I think it clears das to an extent, but I'm not sure if the reverse is true. This looks like a town v. town fight, but I don't think that tomorrow, if greasy flips town, we should just accept that and move on with our lives.

I have already stated that I would be willing to hammer greasy. I don't want the game to go to deadline and we no-lynch, but I don't want to drop a hammer right now without giving everyone time to check in and give their final thoughts for the day. I am able to check the thread at work, so if we're still sitting around staring at each other this time tomorrow I'll hammer then.
