mmm this is wrong on every level.
(1) Scum!me would absolutely placate her at this point because it's much easier to 1v1 someone inside coalition after failure than someone outside coalition after failure because eliminations happen in the coalition.
(2) fighting with skitter is fun and I think I could pocket her as scum.
i mean my point was moreso that if your goal was to placate skitter, then going "hey skitt, let's get you into a coalition with the two people that you do not want in a coalition" is like, not the most effective strategy

I was just thinking that it would be really horrible if you were actually mafia and got me to trust you and then eliminate everyone else in the coalition besides you and then we had to 1v1 at elo it would be like a scary horror movie where you find out the killer is inside the house and I would have nightmares :<

i think it is, like first i doubt skitter would just go "nah" because if she is town, then that proposal probably makes skitter even more suspicious of you (unless wifom gets her to actually trust you with it which i don't think is likely), and it also makes any future attempts at buddying her more difficult or more likely for her to realize that you are indeed buddying her
like if you're a scumplayer who makes posts with very little future planning in mind, then i'd agree that's probably nai, but you don't strike me as such a scumplayer?

like ok i think the thing is that it feels like skitter came in with the goal of Analyze Things and Move Game Forward whereas with ari it feels more like a goal of Establish Presence and Talk To People. and the first set of goals is townier than the second set especially in this setup. this is a very vibes read but i feel like its somewhat supported by what's been posted. datisi is somewhere in between, i think. everyone else idk they haven't talked enough which is towny, maybe.
the difficult thing is that ari just has more of that energy in general in most games. but something about it here just feels more intentional somehow idk
