I stand where I'm at, I'm not going to go tossing loyal sailors to the plesiosaurs on the first whiff of mutiny, cos with the cards being what they are that's a right risk we run. I don't think a mutey is gonna come strolling in all golden-grinned and dagger-swaying, them's the types that come in the night-like.

I want 'em off our boat same as you, but I'm not keen on doing it hasty-wise. A kanker is delicately cut, excised, I ain't one for ripping the whole arm off.

Have ye not considered that even just the threat of a keelhaul might make those with mutinous intent squirm? Even if ye be unwillin' to commit to tossin' one o' yer mates, ye could at least put on a show and strike fear into the hearts of those conspirin' in the shadows... To just wait n see tells the scurvy dogs they're safe to go about schemin' and plottin' as we lay about the deck hemmin' and hawin'
