I can't say I've encountered it in the wild myself; but so far as I know, voting someone right at the start of day and leaving the vote there is a way to soft claim a guilty investigation result.

Then you guys did your fake hammer thing and I remembered that other people are impatient and I should just make a decision on whether to go with it or not, and did because I'd feel really bad if it had been a soft and I didn't even try to go for it.

You literally just admitted it was 'calling me out' which is not really the position one takes when they expect an honest dialogue. You just stated a position about what I did like it was a fact- that's a logical fallacy called "begging the question" and it is quite scummy here. Nor did I find the tone to be coming from the town Drew I've played with, much like the rest of this game. You're being more serious and acting like you actually care about the result.
