I think Random Nurse might be thinking/implying that this isn’t my first game or that I’ve been on the site before. I don’t know how to combat that assumption. This is my first and only account, I just joined a few days ago on the recommendation of a friend that I played a few games of mafia with on discord a few years ago. But I don’t know how I’m supposed to prove that and I don’t want to start getting defensive.
I’m sorry if it hurts us in the long run, it’s definitely not my intention to stick out because I’m new but I can’t change that.

RN is definitely bulletproof, my role has informed that. But we can’t kill bulletproof unless NAS does it night 3+ (if I’m reading the roles correctly)
Really? Leaving that self vote on for so long screamed “not useful-doesn’t care” to me. I dunno, it was such a weird play to basically give up/troll if she had something important to do.

This might give us an idea of who might possibly have something to do at night. I need to go back and check who mentioned that a doctor should be on RN when he bluffed being more than just IC.

No. But I really don’t have much experience. I’ve played a few games on discord about 3 years ago. The games were much faster and I never had a special role that did anything. The most “experience” I have is more with watching social deduction and social strategy games on YouTube or twitch. So most of my playing and play style is coming from observation not experience.

Actually I’m not sure your play will go the way you want. RN doesn’t know we know he’s bulletproof. He could call you out for claiming to doctor him when your kill doesn’t go through and say you tried to kill him but he’s bulletproof so you made this doctor claim to cover that up. You get voted out if that conversation happens, in my opinion.

We’re 2v8 right now and if we don’t kill someone and you get voted, I’ll be 1v8. I think we just try to make it through the next vote and push someone other than you. We need to kill Ari or Dann, in my opinion. I might be leaning Dann. Let’s put your plan on hold for a minute to think about what our plan would be if we killed someone. Who would you choose to kill?

Is there a usual amount of vanilla town in a 13 player complex game? Im worried if I claim it and there’s some easy math they can do to prove I’m lying with 4 vanilla already dead. Please help if you know the answer! I’d hate to lose just because of inexperience with knowing how the games are run here. I’d rather lose because I suck lol

I think PC might be the vig? I’m not really sure. Dave was keeping a vote on PC so maybe he thought he was scum and vig killed. Also there are 4 confirmed VT and Hu/Ari both currently claiming VT as well.

I don’t understand why you can’t have a quick conversation about things here before making decisions. I ask your opinion on who to kill, you don’t discuss and then next time you long on you just immediately say I’m killing whoever I thought was a good choice. No input whatsoever. I feel like I’m playing this game alone. This really sucks for my first game, I have no idea what I’m doing but I’m trying really hard and it feels like you don’t give care at all. Now I wanted to discuss what we would be claiming but no, you immediately just do whatever you want instead of discussing what’s best to do as a team. If this is usually how mafia teams operate, each playing an individual game with no real discussion about decisions…then I’m extremely confused about how anyone wins as mafia here.

It doesn’t sacrifice you if you’re not telling them you’re doctor. Like I said, a conversation with me beforehand would’ve been a lot more helpful. You say not everyone can be a VT and that’s true, which is why I was trying to have a different claim. You seem to think you’re in a better position claiming doctor than I would be in claiming something other than VT. I think they’d immediately jump on yet another VT claim if I said it. You seem to forget who’s done the most work this game to look town, me.
And yes you put the kills in provisionally but then never discuss it with me after that point.

So do you think night 2 informed is a bad claim? I chose a passive role since 3 active roles were already claimed. I just need to figure out what to be informed about. Unless you really think claiming VT is the play.

It’s probably going to blow up in my face but I doubt we were ever winning this game anyway. I feel like I’m missing so much rudimentary information on how to play, what certain things mean, what is normal/usual, etc. that I’m really just doing the best I can but I highly doubt this can be a winning game for me.

I think it’s because you were suspected before today and there were too many roles claimed? I purposely chose a passive role to claim because there were already so many other roles claimed that had power behind them. I was definitely not expecting Hu Tao to have that claim.

Ah they have a plan all figured out, we’re going to lose. Too many power roles left in the game. We probably could’ve won if we had killed just 1 of those power roles earlier. Now there’s no chance. That’s unfortunate.

Hu’s plan: We Elim gera. If he flips scum there is 1 scum remaining. You vig Ari. Titus roleblocks Kay. The reason for the Titus Roleblock on Kay is that it was also confirm PC as town even more while confirming Kay as town (if there is still a kill). If there is no kill then we still have all our conf towns. Lmk if this sounds good or not
Can you please bring up that Hu Tao left herself out and why is she not the one being role blocked or shot when she was the last to claim and originally lied about her role? If I have role blocker on me, I’m screwed and we lose.
