Your tunnel Dayy 1 was incredibly ego-driven and damaging for town, try to tone it down in the future.
Disagree with this, you were tunnelling on me pretty hard and just because I was scum and patch was town doesn’t make the play made by either of you any different /shrug
"having a correct scumread is damaging to the game". Okay. That's a wild one.
Again, though, I fairly recognized that I was failing to connect with the other players in the game on a social level and so it did no benefit to me or the other players for me to remain in the game. So tryin to claim I damaged the game with that is really fucking insulting?

Also I feel kinda bad on pod that he played the night action so well but then still got limmed and asked to be replaced
pod had really good nightplay but we had even better dayplay, just unfortunate how it turned out for them

Not gonna comment on the rest but having a correct scumread is only like 40% of dayplay; you still have to convince others. That didn't really happen, in fact the opposite happened hard enough that I got OMI to think you were scum for the push

My guy I’m not saying you were damaging the game.
I’m saying I don’t think delta needs to be blamed for tunnelling on someone he scumread

I will say that I'm surprised people scumread pod for the "I'm replacing out, you're all idiots" townspew though. Would have been really worried if it wasn't for the fact that it happened after the hammer already went through
In that situation, he should have been okay with his lim because he knew it would lead to a caught scum. Thats the town pov i would expect.

No-one passed comment on you replacing out and you simply failed, like I did, to convince people of your read. Both were valid tunnels and both failed. You can choose to be insulted if you want, but trying to say I was damaging town when we had a very similar D1 is what you said, not what anyone else did about either of us?
Not being aggy, I just think there's nothing here to be insulted over

agree to disagree then, because I think the way he played it was harmful to thread health and suffocated the gameIt's a common enough mistake where a new player thinks they have all the answers and refuses to even attempt to work with other players but it's bad for the game and rarely leads to good results. I'm not saying players shouldn't push their scumreads but delta has basically no reason to believe his reads are that accurate and trying to monopolize the game is makes it basically impossible for other player's voices to get heard at all.

I wasn't claiming otherwise, I said specifically that I failed to connect with others socially in this game.
And while I'll say that clearly my rhetoric wasn't suited to the table and my activity patterns were probably not ideal for generating interaction, I tried very hard to open the floor to get feedback from others, and was more or less roundly ignored, which left me with unhappy feelings toward the game. I don't normally have that problem in games, so as best as can figure I just did not click with the players in this one. It happens.
I mean I totally see why both you and delta were not happy about the lack of engagements with either of your scumcases. I just had no reason to help you guys out (you especially cat!)
It’s a shame it had a negative effect on your enjoyment though, I wouldn’t have wanted that, but I had to keep deflecting from all of your accusations (similar to what I had to do with pod)

Yeah sorry about that, if it wasn't an AV/Python game I would have pretty much agreed with all your points

I mean again, I asked numerous times for critique on my Patch case and nothing was compelling enough to shift me off of it. It's a game of persuasion as much as it is one of deception, and neither of us were persuasive enough to force a lim on our read. Frankly I think the fact that you're trying to blame me when you did the exact same is the 'insulting' bit, Catboi, and it detracts from the pretty great job AV, Dion(pre-replacement) and Python did.

Yeah you definitely did try (repeatedly) to get other people to comment on your patch read, asking them to defend patch or support the case. We wanted to keep it bubbling away but also wanted to keep it there for the d2 push, which is why I kept circling back to cat/omi instead of getting behind patch
Also at one point there was a full town wagon on pod with another townie ready to hammer it. I really wish that had gone through lol
