For the record, I have pulled this Watcher gambit at least 2 other times as town, and neither time was I a real Watcher.

You can see my clear thought process with why I chose now to play with it with the perfect Voyeur action, and low page count Day 1.

If I end up going today, there is 100% scum in the people who went against it, there always is. It's probably not every person, and oddly, I think Delta is town, he's just fun to mess with. Totally backwards on a lot of analysis, though.


The Doctor Drew Tracker-Finder claim was legit.

My other 2 actions are Finder-Finder, which I hinted at earlier, and a Follower action.

I did check; it's true the FL did this gambit twice and was town both times:

The second time they did, they also specifically remarked how the other time they did they were indeed town:

and in the spec thread of an unrelated game, they specifically remarked they would peraphs intend to use the same gambit again someday, thus indicating that doing so could be construed as a pattern:

Yeah, next time I do the watcher gambit anyways.

So one could argue that doing this specific gambit is a town!FL pattern, which obviously is fine except that here FL is specifically drawing attention to that fact, even implicitly encouraging others to dig their post history to verify as much.

Is this a trust tell or I'm just paranoid?

Can someone clarify where the assumption of a traitor has come from?

even before someone revealed that it was confirmed

enchant flipped with disloyal unstoppable and no active non-factional abilities
there is exactly one situation where this makes sense to have
if you will be targeting someone with your factional kill who is the same alignment as you and who has protection

in normals there is only one setup satisfying this without an assumption of purposely targeting a teammate you are aware of
and that is to have a bulletproof traitor

funny thing is that there technically is another manner to meaningfully put disloyal on an unstoppable other than the traitor being bp... and would be there existing a traitor and a jailkeeper

I won't be online for this time and I would rather the thread be locked fast if Hu dies, otherwise I fear they may just start complimenting the Village for their victory (since they don't know the Traitor is lazy) and idk if that could break the game.
