I think it's a lot easier to see when you have the entire picture. I had my doubts but also there's too many unknowns in what factional abilities scum have. Like the pet theory that HolySpiritTurtle put out was plausible (although obviously false from my PoV). There could be a number of similar explanations (that are actually viable).

I think this is totally a viable explanation. Maybe it's not the /best/ use of a strongwill maker, but it sets things up for a "mechanical" mislim if the ability functioned as claimed.

I think Prism makes a good point that if MariaR's ability stands as explained (by her) you'd have to believe the mod put 2 abilities that would nullify town use of PRs during 2 different nights at best, my lightning rod and MariaR's, and it's not something i realized from the get go.
Also you could've probably deduced that the only actions that bounced off were those targeting scum i guess, since both light and Hu tao are flipped already. If lap flips i'll assume that should be enough info to deduce but with how town decided to keep the mechanical CC for "unexplainable reasons" MariaR keeps getting away with, I'm gonna assume no.
Also, no, even if there's scum fuckery with the actions you probably should've lim'd MariaR first imo because of the chance that she's lying about how her ability works, or at least eliminate you and then MariaR, you just dont go "Nope i cant explain why yours didnt get redirected" and expect that some magical unknown scum ability decided to hit a towny who could've been using a cop ir vig ability on a partner for ????? reasons.
