Yeah a couple things:
1) You were the mod, so you obviously never considered that Dio could have had a guilty on Kawaii.
2) The Mafia knew Kawaii was town so they were left with the only other realistic option, it makes sense that they picked up on it.

If you look at Dionysus' D2, he's clearly pushing for a Kawaii elimination as well as defending patchwork, so both were possible from my POV.

D1 Empathice vote was absolutely criminal, and slots like patchwork have to be resolved early because they were never gonna become townread.

I'm a mod but I've also been playing mafia for almost two decades. That was an inno on patch. Your reading of it is absurd.
If you had to choose 1 option, which did Dionysus seem more certain of? A) patchwork is town, B) Kawaii is scum.

In post 1915, Thestatusquo wrote: And even if that was your reading of it: That it was a guilty on kawaii, you voting patch instead of the person who you fyopv has a guilty on them, is extremely bad.
They never claimed Cop, so that was just a guess which was dispelled by the 'we can never be certain' thing.

Also, Kawaii hammering Empath over patch D1 gave them partner equity.

Yeah I get it I was shit haha.

But to say that there is one clear interpretation of Dionysus' D2, when he clearly had 2 new trajectories, is false. It's mod knowledge.

In post 1924, Thestatusquo wrote: It's not.

Only innocent on patch causes an incredibly strong town read on patch. Guilty on kawaii does not cause that. You were purposefully ignoring information because you didn't want to be wrong on patch.

And again, I reiterate: In both worlds voting patch is wrong. If you think theres a guilty on kawaii why are you voting patch? If there's an innocent on patch why are you voting patch? Even if I buy your worldview that it could be a guilty on kawaii the play doesn't make much sense.

(kawaii why are you SO bad at quotes lmao)
The turnaround on patchwork was of equal strength to the scumread on Kawaii, which also came out of nowhere.

And as I already said, I wasn't sure that Dionysus was Cop on D2, so I stuck to my own (bad) read.

I think you're ignoring how Dionysus played to try and justify how obvious everything was to you, the mod.

They also had a brand new strong scumread which came out of nowhere as well.

Idk what else to say...what do you think Dionysus would have done if he had a guilty on Kawaii but didn't want to claim it? Yeah, push Kawaii.

In post 1938, Thestatusquo wrote: Yep. I agree.

But you're ignoring the part where he wouldn't suddenly be hard town reading patch.
He could have just re-evaluated...in the same way that he re-evaluated Kawaii overnight.

I'm going to keep arguing this because it's very simple - he had 2 new reads, 1 scum 1 town.

Well then we agree that I was bad.

Dionysus didn't express his check clearly though, and you only think so because you knew what it was.

Your feedback is just telling me that what I know now was obvious if you knew...it feels like you just want to put the boot in.

I can see now that I had a bad read on the situation, but there were clearly 2 possible worlds at the time.
