Hey guys! Glad my game finally got started!

I think lynching lurkers is a good idea, because if someone isn't contributing to the game, then why are they playing???

Also, I read on the wiki and read a few other games and saw that people usually put a random vote on someone in the first round. So I'm going to put a

vote on netopalis

because I have no idea what that means!!

I personally am not a fan of random voting after once when I did it, and it ended up in a 6 person band wagon (L-1). I jumped off, and told everyone else to do so too. However, they weren't fans of unvoting, so yeah.. I ended up getting lynched for supporting this poor guy. I was pro-town though.

I think you'd have to be pretty dumb as town to end up with a 6-person wagon via RVS and put someone at L-1, personally.

Also, I want to switch my vote.

Actually, I'm having a hard time stomaching it, overall.

Between the, apparent, slip up (the use of family) and the reaction to the FoS I am bothered.

I'm doubly bothered by Sposh's vote in regards to the OMGUS voting - because it reads as CD is town being pushed up via scum, which is a fairly hard line stance at this juncture.

Although concerned with CD, I find post 44 more voteworthy.

I don't think it's a hard stance to take at all! I mean, scum have to try to move the game forward somehow... and I just didn't see it being an OMGUS. Seemed like a stretch. So either Snow Bunny is a mafia trying to set up a townie death or SB's just an overeager townie!

Also, I'd like a clarification on the whole family thing! Seems like an easy mistake to make, but how far SHOULD we be reading into it?

Actually, I somehow missed CD saying that it was OMGUS. I also believed that SD was calling it an OMGUS in an attempt to make CD look scummier, and I just didn't like the vibe I was getting! Looks like I was wrong... sorry!

I wish I could see more posts from muh316 and Santos though. I feel like we're never going to find the bad guys at this rate.

Who is really worrying me at the moment, though, is DarkLight.

He only has about six posts at this point, one of which was the random FOS

He then comments on the lynch all lurkers debate and says we should focus on people who make short statements rather than meaningful posts. He cites an example from a game he played

He's also telling people not to trust anyone, which to me, seems like pretty basic logic! It felt unnecessary to say that, from where I stand. Also, I do NOT agree with his vote at all on Netopalis for being "excited" about the game. It also seems hypocritical to say that Netopalis doesn't have many helpful posts.

You seem very eager to lynch. However I don't think a scum would act like this. He/she would probably be hiding rather than trying to lynch.

fast

games, it's games that move quickly, as in 2+ posts an hour on average, instead of 1 post a day. This ends up helping town, as it pressures mafia.

1) I'm pretty sure the only rule about linking games is no games that are in progress, but who knows, I could be wrong!

2) Do games really ever have one post a day!? I find this hard to believe. Also, I didn't see the post where you explained this, so I apologize.

3) But there's no reason to un-random-FOS. A random vote actually does something: it puts a legitimate vote on someone, which can lead to bandwagons forming, which can lead to more discussion. An FOS will do none of that. To me it looks like you were trying to avoid suspicion by only placing an FOS instead of a vote.

4) I think that's what is called an OMGUS vote, and I also don't like how you try to appeal to the town with "So what do you guys think?". Seems suspicious.

I still support a DLA or CD lynch for today, folks!

I actually read something about how claiming on day one is bad unless you are cop or doc. If you're VT and you claim, and the votes go somewhere else, then it just shows Mafia who ISN'T a power role!

I don't like muh's rationale behind the vote, and I think geek has been coasting through the game, but I definitely find CooLDoG more suspicious from a rational point of view, whereas Spyre is only suspicious because of what Neto said.
