A small community located somewhere in Siberia, Icetown has always been a peaceful village.

Today is like any other morning in Icetown. The snow-covered trees stand proudly in the hillside, the rooster's cries wake up even the most dozy inhabitants.

Suddenly, a shrill cry emanates from the mayor's house, and the villagers rush to investigate...

Next to his body, a letter is found:

We, the Icetown Three, are now running this town. Do not cross us or you'll meet IceGuy in hell. Resistance is futile.

After a short consultation, the villagers are determined to fight against the Icetown Three.

However, the Icetown Three are not the only close-knit community in town. Three childhood friends have decided to join their forces and try to organize the rebellion. They know each other, and they know none of them is a member of the Icetown Three. Just like the Icetown Three, they meet every night - not to doom the town, but to save it.

Will the Icetown Three prevail, or will the good citizens of Icetown be able to live in peace and quiet once again? It's now up to you.

Rules

Voting

1. Votes must be of the form

Vote: Player

or VOTE: Player. If it looks like a vote and the name is unambiguous, it'll be counted.
2.

Unvote

or UNVOTE: Player is nice but not required.
3. You may also VOTE: No Lynch.
4. When a player has received more than half of the possible votes, they will be lynched and the day will end.
5. The day will also end when at least half of the possible votes are for No Lynch.
6. If there is no majority at deadline, there will be no lynch.

Day, Twilight and Night

7. All times will be CET/CEST.
8. Days will last at most 21 days.
9. Nights will last 72 hours.
10. Days will end as soon as the deadline was reached or a lynch has occured, whatever happens first.
11. During Days, you may post and vote.
12. Until I post a lynch scene (or a no-lynch scene), the game is in Twilight. No votes will be counted in Twilight, but every player may post.
13. After the lynch scene (or no-lynch scene) has been posted, the game enters Night. You may not post during Night.
14. The next Day starts after the morning scene has been posted.

Posting

15. You may not quote out-of-thread communications or pretend to do so. This includes your role PM.
16. Unless your role PM says otherwise, you may not discuss the game outside of this thread and PMs to the Mod.
17. Don't use encrypted, small or invisible text.

Activity

I know that is how RVS works. I don't expect this to lead to a lynch at all, the only thing that truly concerned me at all was the way the bandwagon formed. Jason voted for Zach, Zach voted for Decent saying 'it worked last time', then Jason unvoted Zach and voted Decent only saying 'agreed'. What worked last time? Why would Jason automatically vote with Zach? Then Paraffin just jumps on the wagon saying basically saying: "L-4, let's go!"...safe enough thing to do D1 without drawing attention to himself. It just seemed way to fast, three votes in a row, one agreeing, and one saying nothing at all about the vote...just jumped on the wagon.

1. Yes, I FoS the person who started the wagon. I FoS the person who started the wagon, under the suspicion that Zach could be scum, and that one or both of his partners could be on the same wagon. This is a -biiiig- "if", just a hypothesis if you will. It just seemed strange to me that three votes in a row would be on the same person. So I only FoS the person who started it, since, if townie, he couldn't have known that would have happened. But then there is the 'it worked last time' quote, that I have to wonder about.

2. No, he didn't. Which is why I only FoS him instead of placed a vote on him, because Jason was far more suspicious for jumping on said wagon.

3. Yeah, I voted for the second person 'jumping on' the wagon, because I don't like buddying. That, in my book, was plain and clear buddying. Jason's entire post was literally: Vote " ", Agreed...just in a different format. All he did was agree with Zach and voted for Descent, he even went out of his way to unvote first...seems strange not to post anything else along with a vote, even though this is RVS.

4. Yeah, I FoS the 3rd person because it seemed more suspicious to me to jump on the wagon from the start, so I placed my vote on Jason instead.

5. Because of the context around his vote. Refer back to #3 in my responses for that, please.

I have one 'finished' game, https://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=17499 , newbie 1106, and I replaced into another game and had to replace out, started another game and had to be replaced out, so that's, according to Vel, the equivalent of 2 finished games, making me an SE on the newbie forums. I've played about 11 games on another website, but they were nothing compared to this website. I'll link a few of them just for your satisfaction and to be thorough. I'm linking the most rescent game (which was a loooong while ago), in which I had two different roles. After I'd been killed during the night as a townie, I was able to replace in as Affiliation townie (a.k.a. similar to the vigilante). You'll notice a pattern of my games on this website though (I'm not going to link them, as some of them are still in progress), that I am -very- aggressive as far as scum-hunting is concerned, and I am very analytical...and I have a habit of making long wall-posts, as you can see here. I try to shorten it down, but I don't hold anything back. When I see something suspicious I usually quote it, and question the player who said it. If you look at my meta (1134 and 1137), I don't like voting unless I have a reason behind my vote and thus can back-up my vote whenever someone questions me. You'll see me use the phrase that I don't like to vote unless I am 100% certain of someone being scum, but this -is- RVS, so I can't really use that until we're out of RVS because there is usually very little certainity behind votes until after.

So right now I've basically got two finished games, on the waiting list for my first game as SE, and in this game.

Also, I will say this in advance. When I find someone scummy, I usually question them until they've provided satisfactory answers. I don't like jumping on bandwagons unless I have enough evidence of my own, and I will usually post a very detailed case behind a vote...once RVS is over of course.

1) im in UK so 5 hours ahead of EST and 6 ahead of Central.

2) hate wall posts, the odd ones aint bad but when I come on in the afternoon and see 20 walls it is annoying
3) Prefer being scum, much more of a challenge, especially when I am playing with GMan and Zach as they know me too well. My fav role though is in licence to kill setup and is the Day Vig

I'm not so sure that the off-site games are an ideal example if that's what you wanted to see. I was offering those up more as a meta so you can see how I've played in the past as town, and how I played as scum. Also, that site was so different that as you'll notice, they don't even have RVS. The one time I tried RVS on that site, I got lynched D-1 for it. I can provide a link tomorrow if you wish, but not tonight as I have pizza to eat and an essay to write.
