I don’t think I’ll ever finish reading or referring back in this game so I will just jump in (after staring at the water for the last week).

The only two things I can be sure of at this moment are that don_johnson is scum and ConfidAnon is town. I know...impressive analysis.
Looking over their ISO...and in the interest of getting involved...I get a town read from DRK and am happy to steer clear of him at the moment (subject to change of course). dj was all over DRK on D1 and while he (dj) could have just been bussing his arse off...I am inclined to think not. I also got a gut feel during dj’s ISO that Bigbear was scum.
I see the DRK CA jester debate as town on town. I doubt DRK would debate so long on CA...then go for a NK on CA. Other people I’m looking at are Furry and zazie. I remain suspicious of everyone. I’m holding off on my vote for now consider it pointing towards BB.

havingfitz, are there any posts in particular that make you think that BigBear is scum based on dj's ISO?

It was more of a gut feel from reading who dj suspected or didn't suspect. About halfway through the game he gave a lynch pool of:

drk
ca
bigbear
ik (KoC)
shrine (Me)

I don't think scum would totally dismiss all of their partners on a list like this. Since right now I am considering DRK town, this list leaves ca (nk'd town), bigbear, ik (replaced by KoC), Shrine (replaced by me), and a later add on of Sanjay in place of KoC. I think there is at least one scum partner on the list and I am leaning towards BB in the somewhat safe but still implicated 3rd place position.

I am not suspicious of Raskol/EKT at the moment so I am not on the wagon you are pushing. But that could easily change as I have yet to do an ISO on him and am still intermittently skimming the 40+ pages prior to my joining the game.

In the absence of anyone at the moment garnering more of my suspicions...I'll park my gut based vote on BigBear while I take a closer look to see what the current interest on EKT and KoC is all about.

@ Archaebob - I have to say, that was beautiful; however, it all boils down to who you find the scummiest. You find KoC the scummiest, I find Sanjay the scummiest. Whether we can come to a compromise is the next obstacle we have to face. I just don't want to have been swayed by your words and lose sight of my initial intentions, which had nothing to do with environments.

This makes no sense, the current situation in which we are. If BigBear isn't going to be lynched, I think it would be a tad more effective to assess that which is directly in front of us, that being the wagons on Sanjay and KoC. I also think it would be more effective, havingfitz, if you would enlighten us with your opinion on Archaebob and Semioldguy in particular and whether or not you agree with their votes on KoC and Sanjay respectively.

I really wish we could wrap this day up because not much of substance has been said for the last few pages. I'd rather not waste our time. It just seems we're dragging things on for appearances and future reference.

We are only two days from the deadline so I don’t understand your rush. However, I agree my vote on BB would be better placed elsewhere. Why do you want my opinion on Archaebob and Semioldguy? Has everyone provided their opinions of those two and what is your interest in those two specifically? As for their votes...SanJay is not high on my scum list at this time so I don’t agree with any of the votes on him. KoC is higher up on my list so I am more in agreement with those votes. So...of the two people most likely to get lynched, I will place my vote on KoC...

PS...I find the your frustrations above over the lack of substance amusing. As I continue to read and re-read this game I am continually coming on posts by you that have no vause to the game and in many cases are like one or two liners/or words that would be better served in an instant message to someone you were having a casual chat with...as opposed to making valid observations about various points. Not that being active is a bad thing but page 55 and day two has not even closed out yet. Unbelievable to amount of fodder this game is producing. I know lack of posts/content is a bad thing but there has to be a point where too much posting (of little of no value especially) starts to get to the point of information overload. The scum are going to end up as needles in an info haystack. <pardon the rant>

I do not support a SJ lynch over the other options being considered (both KoC or DKU). When DKU confirmed into this game and then voted 1 minute later it raised a flag for me. His ensuing posts did not take the flag down. Iirc Raskol was the focus of several others (before I joined)...EKT was someone I was taking a closer look at before he bailed. So while the position DKU is currently filling was the object of suspicion already, based on DKU's grand entrance I would now support a wagon on him.

I do not believe he read the entire thread before posting his vote...as he alluded to.

Could the entire game be read in three hours? Definitely. Do I think DKU did? Fair enough...I have a hard time believing your claim on the simple fact I’ve only played in a limited number of mafia games. Who did your position investigate N1 and what was the result? Since you have claimed I don’t see what the harm in knowing your claim would do...since you would stand to be the NK now anyway.

I think it does. Nice. It keeps the tie, allows you to not vote for dear friend Sanjay, but makes DKU the longest standing person with 5 votes which should save Sanjay in the tiebreaker. Not as quick as just voting for DKU but accomplishes the same effect.

Kudos to DKU for really focking up a game. Claiming cop, when the cop was gone, when you have a town position. I suppose I could see people dead set on lynching Sanjay staying with their top suspect, but I can not understand why anyone would criticize the people who supported DKU's lynch after DKU's actions. It even got Looker to waiver a bit on her Sanjay crusade and that says a lot as determined as he (?) is.

Looker...since I am interested in why you are so convinced of Sanjay's guilt so that I can consider your points and perhaps help you rid the town of scum...I have looked over your posts (not as well as I could I'm sure) and I have not found your reason/s. And the post you answer archaebob with above (post 1608) really didn't satisfy his question, or my interest, IMO. Do you actually have a case on Sanjay or is it a gut feel? Or do you two have history? Are you bussing him? Or none of the above?

I am on a cruise. They have internet but it is quite costly so I doubt I will be online onboard. If I have time in a port of call and there is an internet café handy...I might be able to check in briefly but I can’t not guarantee it. If I do get online...I will at least give a quick look into the sight and if there is anything I can add to what is currently taking place...without pouring over 15-20 new pages of material.

....is the fact Sanjay didn’t use the word resident in his claim that much of a scum tell? In my 4 or 5 games on here I have grown used to people either being mafia or town. Not counting the various power roles...I can understand someone answering a claim request as vanilla town if asked to claim (whther they were town or not), even if their PM used ‘resident’ instead of ‘vanilla town.’ Is there any difference between the two role meanings?

I don’t know if I like Sanjay’s unwillingness to confirm what was in his PM when pressed by Furry due to the fact we have already had a few claims in the game without drawing the Mod’s anger. Not enough to make me hammer Sanjay but definitely a bit shady IMO. If Sanjay does get lynched, regardless of how he flips I give him credit for putting up a helluva fight.

Not to be callous but archaebob is in my top 2 or 3 suspects at the moment. We could make things easy for the Mod (ie lynch AB if others have suspicions on him as well)...or wait for someone else to replace in to take forever to catch up (if ever) or not read the game completely and lack the full picture. I admit he isn't my top candidate but he's close enough to give pause for thought (IMO at least).

BTW...if I have room I may be taking a laptop with me but online opportunities may still be few and far between.

Good job scum. I wasn't on the trail of Furry or DRK...the one who I would have targetted first would have been Furry but he was below two or three townies. My intuitions was off the mark as usual. Any particular reason I was the NK? It obviously wasn't out of concern.
