I'm re-reading the thread now, but if the town has decided through 6 pages that raj is the vote, I think I'll be looking on to find evil for the next round of ballots. I'll certainly give an opinion on my vote this round, though, too. :clicks to page one:

Well, after the re-read, I've somewhat changed my mind. I'm not that assured of raj's scumminess - he is standing out a lot, which is something scum like to avoid (you can call this WIFOM if you wish, but IMO lay-low behavior is
much
more likely to be seen in scum.) Then again, he hasn't done much to dig himself out of his hole.

If we had not been planning to make our votes unanimous, I'd probably be casting my vote at Lubabah. Besides being lurky, his two posts are little but an apology for being away, and then his most recent post, IMO, is not much more than some crafty copycatting.
mathcam wrote:Astronaut got most of his scumminess from attacking Choco for proposing a no lynch (which he didn't really propose).
Lubabah wrote:Astronaut attacked choco with little or no evidence at all, for proposing a no lynch.
Hmm.
ChocoCid wrote:If King's so confident then why doesn't he add his name to the list of those calling for a vote?
Lubabah wrote:"The" KingEnigma felt so sure of himself on scuminess, then didnt even decide to go into the voting process.
Hmmmm... And then...
Lubabah wrote:And in the third slot... i really had trouble finding someone. Although Raj, Pariah, and Choco seem to be top choices for everyone else, i cant find anything scummy in Choco, and little in Raj.
So this means that no one else can be scummy besides Choco, Pariah, and raj?
Lubabah wrote:So, it brings me to Pariah, who suggested SK in a game not likely to have one. Though a weak suspicion, it is one nonetheless.
He appeasingly picks at Pariah, as people had been doing so earlier. And completely flies low on the radar. That post did nothing for me. I think Lubabah is the vote.

I will say this though- if consensus is not reached to vote for my suspicion, then I'll vote either raj or nolynch.

Shouldn't raj claim? Isn't that the next logical step? People are ready to vote him, so it's seemingly the same as being 1 or 2 votes away from a lynch.

For so eagerly pursuing a target already? I'm just saying if I could actually vote now, it'd be for Lubabah. I'll concede it kind of looks like I was pushing for a vote now, but that was not the intention.

Yeah, this game setup can really drag the days out when there are players MIA, because we can't do any voting unless we want to end the day.

To make a comment, I now find Pariah's opening posts strikingly suspicious.

To make the "choose" system work, we need to be able to trust everybody in the town. We were able to accomplish this last vote, so I think we have something to work upon for this vote.

Cam - still speaking with Choco. It's probably a really tired dead horse by now.

Well... I dunno either. I think this is what you call being "stuck." I'm ready, willing, and able to be sheep, as it's really hard to get a handle on the scum. Right now, I lean toward those posting a little, but not as much - STD and Someone come to mind.
FOS: Those two guys.
Also, I'd like Iba to post again soon, or she's going on my list, too.

Well, given the essence of secret ballots, Lyncher would be a challenge... which could be why it's in the game. Let me think on this.

I think it'd be too powerful... since I think it's a very trustable role in which a crucial part of the game is blind.
Admit it. It's because I like math.

I'm no fish.

As for KE's post, I'm not sure what to think of it. I'll take it for the better - he comes to the conclusion we're just pro-town squabblers, and makes a lighthearted attempt in conveying such.

Deadline's going to catch us, and we've got nothing. I suggest a lurky lurking lurker. Someone comes to mind, or possibly STD, as I'm quite sure he has fallen off the edge of the world for at least September.

The thing is, though, that Choco never voiced any personal suspicions of Pariah. Then he claims to have votecopped Speedy/Pariah because he "seemed suspicious." It just doesn't exactly add up.

I've set Speedy on the back burner, for now, and I have an idea: let's lynch mathcam. First, in three posts of his, Cam went from "I think ChocoCid is mafia" to "I'm fairly confident Choco is not scum." Then we have Day 2, and the repeated times that Cam was discrediting KE. I really think that
On the other hand, I still haven't gotten over KE's last post...maybe it'll just take some clarification from him, but his abrupt shift from "KILL KILL KILL CHOCO" to "Eh, let's just lynch one of these two" was pretty startling.
involved major spin. KE never even really implied the "let's just lynch one of these two." And then we have Cam's theorizing of ChocoCid being scum whilst
In any case, since just about everyone but me finds ChocoCid amazingly scummy, I'm happy ot pursue him for the lynch today.
And now, Cam's not wanting to push a lynch (specifically mine) unless that bandwagon is supported. IMO, that reeks of trying to stay the shadow, not giving anything really to connect him with a lynch.

There's something for you all to chew on.

Interesting fact - I think Speedy replaced the exact same person in another game. Well,
I
found it interesting.

1. mathcam
2. Speedy
3. ibaesha (mostly still for Lubabah's actions)

Let's add 'em up?

Ah, yes. I'll be gone from Friday-Tuesday (check V/LA). I'll send my vote in ASAP on Tuesday night - just make it clear in the thread who I'm supposed to vote.

Funny thing - everybody in the game right now is a replacement.

Hmmm...

this may ring true now. I need to think.

Pondering over scenarios, I'm beginning to think having the Cop reveal her- or himself at this moment could be essential.

Aha. Speedy, that's quite the ploy. I
know
as well that I am innocent, so if there are 2 Mafia left, then it
has
to be Thok and Speedy. Two can play this game, and I imagine a third will join as well. But, the fact that Speedy explicitly said this makes me suspect him even more. Of course it's going to be down to us three, and if there are 2 scum left, then
of course
there's only one innocent that knows he is clean, leaving, quite logically, the other two as mafia. You're quick pounce was too blatant, Speedy. We've got this game in the bag.

Yes, though, this depends on Tyfo's truthfulness. Given what seems to be a limited experience playing the game (I'm sorry, Tyfo, if I'm wrong), I'm leaning more toward him telling the truth.

I don't really think a mass claim is going to get us through much, at this point. But, if we do, iba should of course claim last. I'll even volunteer to go first.

Tyfo - I believe you.

I'm obviously for lynching Speedy or Thok.

I think I might flip a coin.

Inhim saying he'll just flip a coin is also damn scummy.
Not from my point of view.

This game is going to come down to who believes me or not, because [~*-CLAIM-*~]
I'm the
vig
[~*-CLAIM-*~] and I can put the clamps on this game and win it for us, Town. As long as I'm not lynched, we win. That post was deliberate. I wanted somebody to ask me about it. I don't have any deaths to show for my name, because I felt it would be stupid to kill and decrease our numbers, when what the Town needs most are the numbers.

I'm ready to go with Thok or Speedy. If the game goes on after this round of voting, I'll gladly kill the remainder. ibaesha and Tyfo get to decide. I don't care. Anyone have a coin? Let's lynch one of them.

Disclaimer: My arrogance here can be shot to pieces by a fake from Tyfo. But, once again, I believe him.

That's extremely over-powered in this type of setup, and you know it. You're not pulling that past me, at least.

That's good possibility-seeking. I can't argue without going into a topic that has some WIFOM involved... but - why would I set myself up for such an easily detected lie come Tomorrow?

iba, you and Tyfo alone should be the decision-makers. I'm just here to clean up the mess.

You have made a wise choice, sir Tyfo. Now, let's have iba give her final thoughts before we go to vote, and we'll be set.

Thok wrote:Bah. I blew this game for scum-I had Someone/Tyfo fingered as a cop in my conversations with Speedy, but decided at the last minute that Astronaut might be a copish role instead. Yesterday is much more interesting if I choose correctly to kill Tyfo, and we have a much better shot at winning.
Agreed.

Yeesh, I really didn't think I had a chance when I claimed. I'm much too abrasive nowadays.

Oh, and thanks so much, Jere! This gave me some insight into Survivor: Mafia  I think I'll let voting be anonymous, but voting will occur during Day like normal (have to use PMs or something).

Good game all, once again.
