This paticular game: probably going to coast and be lazy and just generally go with my gut on most stuff

Answering in a qualitative (sp?) way: mixed. I have played well in the past (imo) but apparently I am perfectly capable of derping it up

Well, I'm quite good at procrastinating, but it really depends on a variety of factors.

Well, I don't really have much of a reputation for anything that I know of. I do seem to get a criminally high % of scum PMs though (see wiki).

This is an interesting question for me personally.

Early on in my career I got 4 scum Role PMs IN A ROW (making my scum:town PMs ratio 5:2), so naturally I felt my preference swinging towards scum, but recently I've been on a town-streak of sorts and I'm finding it quite enjoyable.

It depends what I'm doing. If I'm running/cycling/whatever I'm more likely to go right but if I'm just sitting down I'd probably just stare at them.

While I don't object to a David Xanatos lynch per se, I don't understand your reason for wanting to rule Oversoul out. What bothers me is him (a) self-voting; and then (b) after the town backed off of him, he cites his self-vote as proof positive that he is town. What town-motivation is there in that sequence?

This is the one major issue I have with Oversoul and I completely agree that it doesn't make sense from a town PoV.

Unfortunately people are stupid/selfish sometimes. I'm having to attribute this instance to stupidity/selfishness for the time being, as my doubts from the self-vote are completely overruled, pertaining to matters which I'm not at liberty to discuss.

This game really needs my love. I was wise to note I was busy, but it was more-so than I had anticipated. Not that it apparently matters, since nobody has PM'd me about my absence. (It's kinda sad. Having that feeling. That you could not post for a week. That you could fade off the site. And that nobody would notice or care. That's what this game makes me feel like.)

I was actually just thinking of requesting a prod on you (as you yourself mentioned that you wanted to be prodded). :P

Back to srs bsns, while projectmatt and Vifam are undoubtedly coming out of this Johhog situation looking better than Johhog (in more ways than one), I'm satisfied that DavidX remains a much better lynch. While Johhog's reaction to matt isn't dissimilar to what I would expect from scum flailing in the face of confrontation (with a hint of 'scum-caught-for-wrong-reasons'), Johhog has been at least somewhat productive. DavidX is happily wallowing in his own uselessness.

And trolling wtf? Reaction testing is NOT trolling. Everything I've done in this game have a reason. I get what you mean with policy votes but sorry to say it, you're wrong. A vote is not a lynch. And I can agree that they're anti-town, but they're never scummy. Policy is policy, meaning I would do the same as scum or town. No things I've done has a scum motivation. I suppose I could be extremely intelligent scum playing a whole new scumgame which no one have tested before, but nah. :roll:

Don't be stupid. Anything at all has several possible scum motives behind it. Take for instance your vote on DavidX:

The vote you made for DavidX could be to get a mislynch. It could be to get town-cred (ie. a bus). It could be to try and deflect attention of you. It could be to try to look town through scum-hunting. It could be to distance from a scumbuddy.


This is just one of several things you have done this game. Every action has possible scum-motivation behind it.

In a Newbie game we played together, I was caught by Otolia as scum... because, essentially, I replaced in upon request from the Mod, and my predecessor site-flaked from 3+ games.

Why did you choose to watch those two?

I choosed Xeras because he prod-dodged quite a few times in D1, he wasn't the only one that's for sure but he was there from the beginning. Giving that scum have less incentives to leave (due to their role being statistically less received), I read that as a scum.
