I think that Double A is acting the way he is because of his play style. Granted, if it is, it's extremely unorthodox, but it's a play style nonetheless.

In any case, we don't know whether he is a veteran of Mafia games, so we'll just have to take it that he is an IC. I can see Double A as someone whose predecessor has been recruited into a cult, and is now taking pains to take the heat off God or cult leader (whichever one of the few people you think right now is). Or, he can simply be a enthusiastic agnostic.

Just to clarify a few things surrounding my relatively ignorant knowledge of cults...

1. If a cult leader is killed off, what happens to the cult (and all its members)?

2. Can a cult leader turn an enemy cultist? If he/she can't, then can he/she turn an enemy cultist after the enemy cultist's leader is killed?

First off, lay off the newbie when all he committed was an opportunistic vote. That much leniency doesn't cost the town a thing.

If I may say so, that is an even bigger show of jumping to Double A's aid. In fact, it almost makes you seem desperate to take some heat of yourself, after reading mykonian's statement.

One of the players that I'd like to remark is Jebus, for seemingly going back on his words in post #67. Him pointing out mask man's post didn't ring any alarm bells in my head (seemed like a normal thing to do, really). I also think that him voting for Zakeri was a little to easy; his vote was supported by someone else's argument. Not to mention that his and populartajo's votes were the last two, and given the nature of both votes, should be seen as opportunistic. OMGUS wasn't a very convincing reason to tack a vote on someone. Also, he didn't answer zachattack's question as to why he waited till the last minute to cast an OMGUS vote.

I am suspicious of Zakeri as well. His serious vote that was changed to a random vote was a red flag for me.

About zwetschenwasser...I'm still at a blur over what happened. He (sarcastically or not) claimed cult leader. He probably is someone who has been culted, and his leader is one of those who are closest to being lynched.

There are valuable bits of information in these attacks on me, however, and I do think I can make an educated guess on the affiliation of some people.

A lurker in plain sight. His recent post (few days ago?) said that he'd follow up with a post of his thoughts on his suspicions with a set deadline (yet to come through on it). His posts have him pointing towards 'Jebus and zwet probable scum'.

My thoughts of his alignment in this game have me leaning towards him being a probable scum candidate. Since he is lurking in plain sight, I will put some pressure on him to follow up with his most recent post on why he thinks that Jebus knows who God is, and why he suspects that zwet is scum.

You guys are being paranoid over Double A. I think we need to change the way we look for God. Instead of focusing on who is distancing who, perhaps we should go back to the first few pages and see who has the behaviour that would most likely resemble God. I am going to go back to page 1 and do just that.

I think that our God is hiding in plain sight...though I could be wrong.

As agnostics, I don't think we should so easily give our swing votes up. If I'm not mistaken, both cults have an equal amount of members. Let's make the two cults run circles for us until we're culted.

Also, note that after Nietzsche and God have left the game, suddenly this game full of lurkers became much more light-hearted and casual and a lot more fun (two cults pummelling each other to a pulp and seeing who can crawl to the finish line).
