Explain to me why two scum partners would bring the deadline lynch down to Partner 1 or Partner 2 when there were plenty of other candidates for lynch? Even if it became obvious that one of the two were up for lynch why not at least give the town a choice between Partner 1 and Innocent 1?JDodge wrote:I am saying that distancing has given way to bussing. It's not down to me to know how the scum thinks. I'm saying it's a possibility.-

Oh wow, nice call of WIFOM. This is not even close to WIFOM.
Yes scum can benefit by bussing their partner early in the game in order to get a free ride to the end. In this situation with limited activity and a fixed deadline where the person about to be lynched has 3 votes, the scenario you're suggesting is very unlikely.Moo?-

It would be WIFOM if we went down the path of "why did you do that", considering that the explanation I have for why scum would bus in such a way is that it is a highly unlikely scum maneuver in a game with power roles that will likely have minimal impact.Crub wrote:Oh wow, nice call of WIFOM. **Will be lynched at deadline if no votes are changed or placed by then.the deadline rules wrote:At deadline the player with most votes will be lynched, You have to vote nolynch to avoid this scenario at least as much as the highest number of votes. I'm not seeing much of a case on crub or TSN, their argument looks like 2 townies, 1 much less interested in the argument than the other. I could see this at distancing but this doesn't look that much to me like that at the moment.
On the other hand, I support a k7 wagon. His reasons for voting have seen entirely contrived. Especially amusing is how he unvotes jdodge, who he has been voting for since the beginning of the day, and puts his vote instead on TSN, while JD, based on k7's reasoning in 640, is equally or more guilty for the actions that he has cited in that post. I also don't like his use of 'near the deadline' to describe when tsn and jd started voting crub, when it was a week ago that it happened.
Additionally, he doesn't seem to realize that yesterday, he participated in the same type of deadline lynch. 5 days before deadline hit, he placed the third vote on jdodge, for successive reasons of "fuck it", "he hasn't posted anything in ages, mm made mistakes but he should get another chance", and then confirming his vote when jdodge pretty much ignores his wagon (this one I am ok with). The problem here is that he makes these posts right after saying he is deciding between tsn and mm. He later goes back, in the second post of reasoning I mentioned, and explains why he sees jdodge as scummier than the other two, but I feel that k7 is just following the wagons in this game.
vote: k7
I'd rather see this lynch than a crub or TSN lynch.-

forgot to address that. I was waiting for you in the same manner as neko: you had said that you would look through and see if there was anyone scummier. Later, when asked by neko and I, you said that you would wait until someone scummier jumped out.
I didn't like this change in position either
mainly what I was waiting for was you to clarify whether your stance had changed or not.-

k7, I'm getting the impression that you're not actually reading the thread. First, you keep ignoring my questions:
You never answeredPlease elaborate. What is "stepping up" to you? It can't be the number of posts, since JDodge has contributed much more today than D1 (and likely more than you). What, then, is it about his posting that merits your vote?
This was in reference toPlease answer--Are you keeping your vote where it's at or are you changing it?
which sounded like it was going to be followed up, but it never was, and I asked twice if you were going to change your vote and you responded by sayingkilla seven wrote: im ok with my vote, ill have to go back and see if anyone else looks more smunny at the moment 2 change my vote
which, I'm pretty sure you were referencing the previously quoted post because you then saidim pretty sure i answered this question, so no im not ignoring you.
So, I asked for a follow-up, and I never directly received one.anyways, as i said before, i will change my vote when i find someone scummier then jdoge or j steps up, which he hasnt.
My question was answered when you voted TSN, though, and that brings me to the second reason why I'm pretty sure you're not reading this thread:killa seven wrote: *sigh*
unvote i guess ima pick one 2 vote for lemme re read real fast i know this is the last day.Ten minutes laterok i dont like how tsn earlier in the day had voted for j dodge, and then on page 25 both j dodge and tsn gang up on crub near the deadline, and on page 26 post 638 jdode asks why we are voting tsn instead pf crub, all this seems shady 2 me, i dont feel like quoting it all just go look for your selvs.
vote tsn
First note- you assert that this is the last day, when in fact, there were still 2-3 days left, meaning you have no idea when deadline is, which is not good town play.
Second- Not only is this post very vague, but I can hardly believe that you read through 25 pages in ten minutes and came to an informed and well thought-out conclusion. This sounds terribly like joining a wagon for the sake of joining, without giving it any thought. Only the scum have the luxury of doing this. The town cannot succeed without making well-informed decisions, and the town can't make them by breezing through the thread, ignoring questions, and arbitrarily picking wagons to join.
unvote; vote: killa seven
Just for the record, k7, can you explain why klebian's reasons for voting you are "bull shit"?
skitzer, shanba, it would be wonderful if you could weigh in on the wagons and vote. Deadline is up in a little over a day.-

You think TSN is more opportunistic? He's at least presenting arguments, whereas k7 is just popping in to vote and chat with klebian. TSN at least appears to know what's going on. If opportunistic voting suggests voting without rationale, do you honestly think that k7 is putting more rationale behind his voting than TSN?
Also, my switch isn't sudden and it shouldn't be surprising. I did say that I'd rather lynch k7 if there's support for it. My vote on TSN was partly to test your prediction:
I'm surprised you didn't pick up on that. So now, what do you think of klebian's not voting you? My opinion: I think it's not surprising at all. By stating this, you more or less set klebian upMy prediction: if TSN gets to 3 votes kleb will vote me.notto vote for you, so if you were hoping that he would so that you could add to his case, why did you even bother saying it? This seems like one of those things best kept to yourself rather than shared with everyone else because it requires a genuine response rather than a calculated one.In Tartiflette We Trust-

Ahh... I wana vote Kleb now for building another wagon two days before deadline... talk about a hypocrit =/
I'm stickin with my vote on Crub. I'l be keeping my eye on the thread closely the next day and I'll see if I still think the same come tomorrow...It's not my job to be right, it's my job to be convincing.

That's funny because by my reckoning TSN hasn't presented any arguments. Just because k7 is jumping on the best wagon doesn't make him scummy IMO.neko2086 wrote:You think TSN is more opportunistic? Yes because obviously I want people voting for me . Of course I said it in order to pre-empt it from happening.neko2086 wrote:By stating this, you more or less set klebian upnotto vote for you, so if you were hoping that he would so that you could add to his case, why did you even bother saying it? Also I won't be voting k7 in order to save myself at deadline.Moo?-

Actually, your saying that put me in a catch 22. If I voted you, lo and behold, you were right so I must be scum. If I didn't vote you, well, it was because I 'knew' that I would be 'outed as scum' if I did.Crub wrote:

basically i'm saying such a 'prediction' was completely unnecessary and put double the meaning on how I voted-

After a long and confusing day, town chooses to lynch although they can't decide on who is best candidate and finally, when night falls they lynch
Crub, vanilla townieis hanged
I expect night choices to be in before tuesday (Apr 8th), 11.11 am CET, in 96 hours and 45 minutes from this post."Early experiments in transportation" Gary Larson
I stopped playing and modding here Friday the 13th, due to real life. finishing the hawks game however.-

The night was shorter and less confusing, you wake up, 9 of you in the real world, and one of you in another realm...
JDodge, vanilla townie, is no longer alive...
With 9 alive a day should last no much longer than 3x9 real life days:
deadline (hopefully not needed this time) set for Tuesday May, 6th."Early experiments in transportation" Gary Larson
