Sarcastro's corpse is found on the streets, with knife marks visible all across it. Flameaxe is found in a pool of blood, ravaged by stab wounds as well.
Primate affirms that Sarcastro wasn't killed by the local mafia, but no one pays him any mindbecause of all the commotion Surye is making. BM starts the Surye bandwagon, but it has little substance until Nabakov puts the third vote. BM is still pushing the lynch very hard, but the bandwagon only really picks up after Cyberbob gives it the little push over the cliff that it needs. In less than a page after Bob's vote, Surye is forced to reveal himself as the mayor, and divulges the reports he received from the various assignments his agents carried out the night before:
- Cyberbob's house was searched, and the investigating agent affirmed he spotted belongings suggesting an "aggressive nature".
- Nabakov and Ghostwriter were under surveillance at the former's house, and were seen perpetrating illegal activities on the internet.
- Flameaxe was investigated by another agent.
- Lastly, one operative infiltrated BM's house, and during a quick run down, stumbled upon an entire arsenal of deadly weapons.
Next in order is the discussion surrounding Bob's alleged "aggressive nature", although its cut short by Nabakov, who decides to investigate on his own, but Crub quickly joins him. They are unable to breach Bob's property. Meanwhile, following my example, both armlx and Dasquian individually attempt to loot BM's house for guns, but they return empty-handed. The only individuals known to be strapped are Surye -the mayor- and the QB militia.
After a debate lasting several pages, the standing majority decides to terminate Cyberbob's existance. Primate then wakes up and contests BM's claim about Sarcastro's death.Panzer backs Primate up.The three each tell their sides of the story,but the pieces don't quite fit and the truth is muddy, so BM is being massively bandwagonned at this point. Suddenly, BM rushes Primate and slashes his throat, before anyone can react. He's then lynched on the spot by the biggest mob of people we've ever seen, interspersed with tearful confessions of his and Bob's treason; bringing to memory the lynching scene in the movie "The Mist".
